The Garden was packed but the two besties didn't have to wait to get in, thanks to Jimin being the owner's son. Their cup of liquor earlier was already relaxing them but they both always knew to stay alert in any atmosphere. That came with being a vampire, just like how Jimin chose to not breathe when he was in an environment where humans would be. He sometimes could go overboard if he didn't hinder himself from smelling around, so he only breathed around vampires. Tae, on the other hand, had more self control that his little friend.
"Kim!" They heard a deep voice calling out through the loud music as they made their way towards the bar. Taehyung turned his heard at the name and instantly took off running. Jimin stopped abruptly, watching his bestie to see where the hell he was running off too then chuckled, shaking his head.
Taehyung had ran up to another of his close friends, who Jimin thought was more than just a friend to Tae for many reasons. He was still patiently waiting for Tae to spill the tea when he was ready because he knew there was definitely tea between the two men. He made his way over to them, watching as the slightly shorter man patted Tae's hip to tell him to get down after the excited boy jumped on him.
"Where you been Suga!" Tae asked as he got back on his feet. He had his arm around the man's shoulders now. Yoongi looked Tae over once and was about to say something until he saw Jimin walk up to them. He gave a small gummy smile. "Jiminie. It's nice to see you. It's been a while."
Jimin bowed slightly, "Yeah it has, hyung. You been okay?" Yoongi made a face and shrugged. "I've been as good as I can be. Ran into some bullshit and had to lay low but nothing to crazy to worry about." Taehyung had instantly frowned at Yoongi's words then turned him to face him completely.
" You're hiding, Yoongi? Someone's looking for you?" Tae asked as quietly as he could with the loud music playing. Yoongi smirked and brushed the worried man's arm off his shoulders. "I'm good Tae. You see me out, right?" The two besties looked at each other, silently communicating to themselves. They didn't feel too comfortable with what their hyung had just said but they would leave it be, for now.
"Well, since your good, let's enjoy the night." Jimin said as he clapped his hands together then turned to leave for the bar. He wanted, needed another drink. He was still trying to keep himself from popping the pills he took from Tae's medicine cabinet. God, he was pathetic.
Yoongi began to follow Jimin's trail but was snatched back by the arm. Tae glared at him, with not a hint of playfulness in his eyes like before. " I know you're being hunted. Stay at my place. Did you forget what I see and hear working in a weapon's shop?" He hissed through his teeth, his grip tightening on Yoongi's arm.
Yoongi frowned and snatched his arm out of Tae's hand. "I can handle myself Tae. I'm not a defenseless child. I don't know why you give a fuck anyways. We're just friends, right?" The dark look Tae saw in Yoongi's eyes told him a lot that he already knew but he didn't think his hyung would let him see. "I still care about my friends and I will protect my friends." Tae's hand gently grabbed Yoongi's waist, pulling him closer as he leaned in to his ear, "...even the very...very close ones."
Tae's breath tickled Yoongi's ear and he began to feel his face heat up before he decided to pull away from the taller man again. Without looking at him, he began walking to the bar to get the drink he now, desperately needed.
Jimin sat at the bar watching the two but quickly turned, facing the bar when he saw them making their way towards him. "Yep, definitely more than friends." He hummed to himself and smiled into his drink.
He was beginning to feel even more relaxed and tipsy than he was earlier. This would be his last drink. He would never let himself get too drunk to where he couldn't defend himself, if he needed to.
"Well, I'm gonna go dance. You coming Chim?" Jimin turned to Tae and shook his head. "I'm good for now, but definitely later." Tae nodded his head before grabbing Yoongi's hand and pulling him along. The older man whined as he was being pulled and Jimin couldn't help but grin. He hoped he would find someone he could be cute with, one day. Until then, he would enjoy the life of one night stands.
He scoped the club out as he finished his drink. Everyone was having the best time of their life, even the body guards, who rocked a little at their posts. Except for one, who seemed to not be having too much fun. Wait.
Jimin squinted his eyes a little to try to get a better look at the man. That wasn't one of the body guards. It was that guy from the interview earlier. Jungkook. Jimin's eyes looked the man up and down from afar and a smirk creeped onto his face. "You really are an eye catcher...Jungkook." He said to himself before deciding to walk over to speak.
