"What?"
Jimin and Tae stood in his weapon's shop. Jimin had just walked in to have the waited conversation he was sure Tae wanted to have with him since he and Jungkook had left the house. However, Tae was too quick and smacked him in the face with some shocking news.
"You heard me. He's gone... and I have no clue where he is or where he could have gone." Tae ran a hand through his long dark hair as he inhaled deeply. He had been taking slow deep breaths since he woke up this morning and couldn't find the hybrid anywhere in his apartment. Yoongi didn't even leave a note. Stressed wasn't even powerful enough to describe the way Tae was feeling at the moment.
Once Jimin snapped out of his own shock, he rubbed his hand down his best friend's back. He knew Taehyung was probably emotionally on edge, besides he could see it in his face.
"Do think he is gone for good? I don't think he is. Yoongi has a weird way of showing it, but I know he loves you Tae," Jimin frowned as he continued to rub his friend's back. Tae sighed then stepped away from the back rubbing to begin putting things up in his store. He needed to occupy his mind with things other than Yoongi's absence.
"You know, Jimin, I don't think I know anymore. We had an argument and he tried to leave the other night when you saw us standing by the door. He seemed to really want to leave, but you coming out the room stopped all of that. Supposedly he wants to take the stress of trying to constantly protect him off my shoulders. Wonderful! However, now his absence is a bigger stress!"
There was a loud crash as Tae hurled the object in his hand directly into the wall in front of them. The vampire closed his, now glowing red, eyes to take more slow deep breaths. "Hey, hey, hey. It's going to be okay. Let's talk about something else for now. I figured you planned to talk to be about how I allowed Jungkook to leave."
Taehyung slowly turned to face Jimin, but kept his eyes closed. "Yeah, I was livid. For you to do something like that without talking to me about it first, is just insane. At this point, though, if you believe the hunter will not rat you out then I'll take your word for it. If he does rat, I will kill him and we will leave this city, even if I have to bind you to do so." Jimin watched the serious look in Tae's red eyes once he decided to open them.
"Okay, Tae."
They both turned their heads when they heard the door to the store open. Tae's eyes, which had finally changed back to its original dark orbs, began to glow a bright red again. Then within seconds the whole store blacked out. The blinds were closed and the open sign was turned to closed.
It was Yoongi. He wasn't injured or anything, he was safe and sound. He didn't say anything as he walked up to them then pass them into the back. The hybrid could feel the other two's eyes on him and the difference in their gazes, but he wasn't about to get into a huge altercation right now. He had needed some air and space, so that's what he gave himself. He knew Tae was probably boiling.
Jimin turned quickly to his bestie, noticing him take off towards their hyung, but he stopped him from following. "Tae, I know you're livid right now, but maybe you should calm yourself before you go questioning, hyung."
Tae was growling in rage, but he slowly closed his eyes again and began to take slow deep breaths. Jimin just patted his chest as he waited for the vampire to calm down.
Tae felt his phone going off in his pocket, so he pulled it out to have a look. "Why the hell is I.M. calling me?", he mumbled as he answered the phone
" What is it? I'm not in the mood for any games today."
"Wonderful, neither am I. So, one of my men have found out some information that I feel will be valuable to you."
Taehyung rolled his eyes, sighing as he ran his hand through his hair, "What information?"
"Those hunters you are familiar with, well one of them, were told information about me that they only see as a rumor right now. However, they are intending to look into it. Long story short, if they find out I am a vampire and that I was able to remove myself from the grid, they may look into you next. You're name is still brought up in conversations, even though it seems Jimin's favorite thinks you are human. Taehyung, you and I both know that those hunters won't just drop something like this without thorough research and investigation."
Jimin was the one now running his hands through his hair from stress. "What the fuck," he said to himself. Taehyung just looked at him for a bit as he listened to I.M. finish, before hanging up.
"Well, looks like we may have to leave this city regardless."
"No, Jungkook wouldn't dig deep if he feels so set in stone about you being human."
"Jimin...Jungkook isn't the only hunter in this city. Even if he left the whole idea alone, that doesn't mean his friends will. I know you are wrapped around that man, but don't let your mind fog up too much."
Jimin glared at Tae, "Watch your words, Tae. I am not a young and stupid vampire. I always have my eyes open with everything."
Tae chuckled in disbelief, "Yeah, well lately, I'm sure the only thing that has been open has been your legs." There was a low rumble building up underneath them. Tae's eyes widened, "Jimin! Stop, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings. I just need you to stay focused."
Jimin kept a hard look on his friend as the shelves began to shake more. He turned to face the shelves on one side of the store, flicking his wrist lightly. Everything on the shelves fell to the floor, some shattering. He turned back to glare at his friend even more, then flicked his wrist once more, turning the lights back on and opening the store.
"Taehyung...don't ever question me like that again. If there has been anything that I have been for years, is focused. So focused that my own father felt it was honorable of me to be such an ideal man. So ideal... to even do his dirty work!" With that, Jimin hurried out of the store, to where, he didn't know.
