What Happened?

The silence was so loud that Jimin couldn't help but break it, "Jungkook, I'm sorry for whatever happened to you guys. You...you should know that I wouldn't hurt you. I'm not like most of my kind and I'm not the only one either."

The two just stared at each other for another long moment before Jungkook sighed. "Can you please tell me what happened to you and Namjoon? C-can we talk through our troubles. Maybe...maybe if we get to know each other's lives a bit more, things will become less fatal."

"Our...our parents were killed by your kind. We don't know why and they didn't care to tell us as they killed them in front of us. We had to leave after, of course." Jungkook spoke almost timidly, sounding a little choked up from the subject. Jimin decided to stay quiet as he waited to listen to all of what the man in front of him wanted to tell him. His eyes eyed the man's arms that were still tied behind him. Maybe he would untie him if things went well.

"That night was just like any night we had. Everything was great and everyone was safe...we thought. We had heard that some vampires were running rampant in the town beside ours but my parents didn't seem to be worried. They were also hunters. I guess they should have been." Jungkook went to wipe the tears falling down his face but was immediately reminded that he was still tied up.

Jimin noticed his movements then perked upa bit, "I-I can untie you...but you have to promise not to hurt me."

Jungkook burst into a tight lipped chuckled as he glared over at Jimin, "You could easily kill me if you wanted to. I'm not stupid, Jimin." Jimin stared back at the man with a serious look in his eyes, "I'm serious, Jungkook. I don't want to hurt you and never intend to. I'm willing to untie you and trust that you will trust me too."

Those eyes. Jungkook kept telling himself that he shouldn't look at Jimin's eyes but, somehow, it seemed impossible. Beautiful wasn't strong enough of a word to describe them, and to think they were on someone like Jimin. It almost seemed unfair.

"Fine," he said as he turned his back to the vampire. Jimin couldn't help the smile that had replaced the serious look on his face. Maybe everything would work out for the best. He cautiously got closer to Jungkook until his chest was so close to his back that Jungkook could feel his breath on his neck. He watched as the hunter dropped his head a bit, almost as if he was trying to keep some distance between them.

Jimin let his eyes roam the man's back, noticing how his muscles seemed to stretch his shirt in some areas. He looked down at his hands and allowed his claws to grow to a pointed length. He placed a soft touch to Jungkook's back, noticing him flinch, as he leaned a little more into the man's ear. He just couldn't help himself, and besides, maybe this would help Jungkook understand how he really feels about him.

"I'm going to let you loose now. Please, keep your word and I'll keep mine," he said softly then cut through the rope around Jungkook's wrist in one slice.

Jungkook felt the release then turned around to see Jimin standing by the door, his eyes a bit wide. He figured he moved to make sure he wouldn't be attacked soon after releasing him. Jungkook rubbed one of his wrists as he stood but stayed on his side of the room. "I'll keep my word."

Jimin swallowed hard as he slowly nodded in response, but he kept his back on the wall by the door. "I guess I should share a little, right?" Jungkook nodded then leaned against the wall behind him. He had been on his ass long enough, he needed to stand.

Jimin began to nervously fiddle with his fingers as he stared down at them. He didn't know where to start and he didn't really know if he was ready to even tell anything too personal about himself. However, it was only fair since Jungkook had opened up to him about his parents. With one last inhale then exhale, he allowed himself to slide down to the floor. He was sure it was going to become difficult for him to stand once he got to the worse part of his life.

"I lost my mother when I was younger. She was killed and I'm sure it was hunter that did it. She was like me, nice and wouldn't hurt anyone if there was no reason to. I was more closer to her than with my father but back then everything was still a lot better than now between me and my father."

Jungkook could have sworn he heard a crack in Jimin's voice and it made his ears perk up a bit but he kept a blank expression on his face as he listened. There was a pause that seemed to be a little too long, so he decided to speak up.

"What do you mean by better than now?"

Jimin had taken another deep breath as he looked up at the ceiling. This was going to be harder for him than he realized, but he would take baby steps.

"My mother used to never want to see me hurt. My father used to be the same. We weren't very close but I could still feel like he loved me as his son. Now, it's evident that he hates me. He told me that my mother had an affair while with him with a human and caused some very bad things to happen to our family lineage."

"Lineage? Is something special about your family? I wouldn't be surprised since your eyes are very different from other vampires I have met. Wait, your father's eyes are not like yours, though." Jungkook's mind was beginning to try to connect dots that had not been placed down, yet.

Jimin smiled timidly to himself then, finally, grew the courage to look up at the man. "I have my mother's eyes and yes, you could say my family is a little special. I-I can't tell you why...just yet."

Jungkook just nodded. He wouldn't push for too much since he was still getting more information than what he could ever expect. Was he going to do something with this information? He wasn't sure.

Jimin cleared his throat before continuing, "I believe that my father has decided to take his anger towards my mother out on me. Ever since she was killed... things have been...hell." There it was, another choking sound, but this time it was followed by tears. Jimin was now holding himself as he stared at the floor. Jungkook felt the need to hug the smaller man, but he kept his distance for now.

After a few minutes, it didn't seem as if Jimin was going to say anything else. He was stuck in his tight self- hug and was now beginning to rock himself a bit. "Jimin."

The man flinched at Jungkook's voice calling to him, but he slowly looked over at him.

"What happened between you and your father?"

Jimin tried to take another deep breath but choked on it as more tears began to fall. He was beginning to feel that familiar disgust build up in his throat.

"He...he...made me do things for money. I...couldn't..." Too hard. It was too hard for Jimin to finish what he was saying and all Jungkook could do, at the moment, was stare at him with wide eyes as realization hit him.

That monster pimped his son out. His own son! Jungkook frowned in repulsion. How could he do that to his own son?!

Jungkook leaned off the wall when he began to feel the room rattling. What the hell was going on? He looked over at Jimin and saw the boy curled up on the floor crying hysterically.  Why was the room shaking? He went to move towards the vampire but the door swung open and Taehyung and Yoongi came running into the room.

Jungkook watched them both grab Jimin and try to calm him down. As he got closer, he was able to see the floor slightly cracked under him. Was Jimin doing this? Jungkook had never seen a vampire be able to do such things, yes they had incredible strength but nothing like this.

The room stopped shaking, but the other two men kept their hands on Jimin. "What the fuck did you say to him?" He heard Tae ask him, but he kept his back to Jungkook. Yoongi turned to look at Tae then to Jungkook before standing. He prayed the hunter wouldn't recognize him. "We're going to take him, for now. Tae come on!"

Jungkook watched the shorter man tap Taehyung on the shoulder before they lifted Jimin and carried him out. What the hell had just happened? Did any of this change anything for him? Why was that other guy slightly familiar? Had they met before?
