Namjoon paused his bench pressing as his phone began to go off. He was off today and decided to try to work off some stress. When he looked at his phone, his eyes nearly popped out of his head before he answered.

"Kook?!"

"Hyung! I'm sorry I have been missing but..."

"The fuck do you mean you're sorry?! I have been worried like shit, Jungkook! Where the fuck are you? You know what? I don't care. Bring your ass here, now!"

He heard his little brother chuckle lowly, "I will hyung. I need to go grab somethings and change my clothes from my place first then I'll be right over. I promise."

Namjoon nodded slowly, "Good, I'll call Hoseok to come over too. He has been worried too, and don't bullshit us with your explanation when you get here."

"I won't hyung. Give me an hour and I'll be there."

Namjoon frowned a bit, "An hour? Where are you coming from? Are you in the city?"

"Hyung! I will explain later. I have to go. Bye, love you."

Joon let out a deep breath as he grabbed onto his hair. "Ah, thank god. That asshole is going to send me to the grave early."

*Bang bang bang!*

"Yo!" Namjoon heard someone yelling from the other side of his door, so he got up and approached it. He looked through the peep hole them swung the door open.

"Why do you have to be so loud when you come here?"

Hoseok laughed as he walked pass his friend. "I do it because I know it fucks with your peace. What you up to? You  look sweaty." Hoseok eyed Joon slowly as he spoke then turned to hop onto his couch.

"I was just about to call you, actually. Jungkook has finally reached out to me. He said to give him an hour before he gets here. He said he gotta change and all that."

Hobi sat with his mouth set in a small "o" shape, " Well the story has to be one for the books. You think he was with the Jimin guy?"

Joon grabbed his towel he used when he worked out off his weights in the corner, and tossed it over his shoulder. "I have no idea but we'll find out soon. I'm gonna take a shower real quick."

Hoseok nodded, eyeing Joon as unnoticeably as he could. Yeah, the last time he was here, things were different for them. He wasn't trying to make it that way but oh well. Thankfully Namjoon wasn't questioning him about it.

Thirty minutes later, Joon walked out of his room fully dressed then made his way to the kitchen. "So what have you been up to lately, Hope? The way you left the last time you were here... was a little concerning."

Shit!

Hoseok chuckled as he, nervously, rubbed the back of his neck. "Look, the conversation was a little weird anyways, Joon. We've only joked about things like that, but you were making things too serious. I don't understand why."

Namjoon came back with two full glasses then handed one to Hoseok, "Was it really just me that made it serious? What's been up with you, Hobi? You obviously were upset by the time you left because you didn't do your little silly wave back like you usually do." They both sat in silence, Hoseok just sipped his drink, "Mmm, good drink Joon. I came across something interesting the other day. I think you may want to know bout it, and Jungkook."

"Fine, I guess we'll move this conversation in a different direction then. I'm not letting it go, though." They both made eye contact and Namjoon made sure to show just how serious he was about what he said. He was only met with a blank expression. "What do you think I need to know, Hope?"

"The guy that Kook had gotten into some money troubles with may be working with or for vampires. That's the rumors that's going around the organization. I haven't heard about him or have seen him on lists, so I doubt it. However, that made me wonder about the Taehyung guy. The I.M. guy doesn't pop up for anything on the grid, like Taehyung. Something is off about that and I'm interested in finding out what. I just have to figure out how to do that."

"Maybe you need his actual name. I'm sure that isn't his birth name. He's a regular at the casino. I've never heard of him doing anything suspicious like that, but I wouldn't put it past him. Men like him do whatever to stay at the top." Namjoon sat on the couch, maybe a little too close to Hoseok. He did it purposefully. Hoseok wasn't going to ignore the conversation earlier. Namjoon wanted his friend to be completely honest with him about what they always joked about in the past. The "thing" between them.

Hoseok looked at Joon but kept his place on the couch. What the fuck are you up to, Joon?
