The Council

Jimin's nerves were a mess. He stood outside his family home trying to get himself to calm down before he walked in. A few minutes later, he decided to climb into his room window instead of walking through the door. Hopefully it would give him more time to relax himself. He could feel the elders' presence in his home.

He was happy to know that his window was still unlocked  as he climbed through it. That meant that his father had not been ransacking his room. As he looked around, he began to remember different horrible incidents that took place in his room. Jimin closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths before opening them again and making his way to his bathroom.

Taking his contacts out, he stared into the mirror at some marks that were still slightly visible on his neck. He couldn't stop the smile that crept onto his lips as he thought about his forbidden lover. A few minutes passed, and he had fixed himself up to look as royal as he could, his marks covered and his clothes slightly regal. The vampire did, indeed, look like an aspiring prince.

He slowly opened his door and prepared himself to walk out, but was stopped by one of his cousins who stood in front of him holding her finger to her mouth, gesturing for him to stay quiet. Jimin was confused by her action but did as he was told then followed his cousin to a closer hidden corner at the top of the stairs. Both cousins flinched when there was a loud crash.

"This is outrageous! I have worked my ass off to keep my family name at the top of this council!", Sung Ho yelled. His eyes scanned the council with hatred. The eldest, Hothel, stepped forward with deathly expression on his face. "Sung Ho, you will remember who you are speaking to and watch your tone. You have been a great friend to many of us and the Parks will very well still have respect amongst our species. However, what your wife did was heinous and that can not be erased."

Sung Ho stomped his foot and was about to continue his quarrel, but was interrupted by Hothel. "On top of that! The way you decided to deal with her was even worse. We expected you to let the woman go and be with who she seemed to love more, but adding her to the Hunter's hitlist was crossing the line! She may have disgraced our species by being with that human, but YOU disgraced us into the grave by putting one of our OWN in the enemy's hands!"

Jimin's jaw dropped and his body froze after hearing Hothel's words. There was no way his words were true. Yes, he knew his father was pissed about what his mother did, but he would never have her killed off. Sung Ho loved his mother. They were so in love back then. He even cried for months after her death! Jimin's cousin stared up into the man's face and placing a hand on his cheek, "Jimin, I'm so sorry. Please, try to keep your calm before you go down."

The vampire's eyes began to water, but he snapped back into his fucked up reality, wiping the light tears from his eyes. "I'll be fine," he said before holding his head high and making his way down the stairs. The look on his face would would give chills to even the strongest vampire to come across him. Tonight, Jimin wasn't going to take any shit, or let his father get away with anymore of his hateful acts, but he was going to do as graceful as a Royal of the council should.

As he stepped into the living room of his family mansion, the members of the council, as well as his father, turned their attention to him. "Ah, Jimin, we did not know you had arrived. It is very good to see you again. However, we do wish it wasn't under such circumstances.", Hothel spoke as he slightly bowed and the other members followed behind him. Jimin gave the council the sweetest smile to them as he bowed as well, "It's good to see you all, as well. What is the reason for your visit at this time of night?" The vampires eyes pierced them all, especially his father, making the elder vampire rock uncomfortably in his place.

Another member from behind Hothel stepped forward to speak, "We are sorry to say that the Park name will be removed from council. There have been too many unforgivable acts that have been recorded to be able to keep the name connected to the higher powers. No worries, however, the Park family will still carry the respect they deserve while moving throughout our kingdom." Jimin slowly nodded.

"What are these unforgivable acts?", Jimin asked but kept his eyes on his father's squirming body as the council began to tell him the information he already knew of, unfortunately. Once they had finished speaking, Jimin turned his attention back to the council. "Well, I would say that is very unforgiveable indeed. Who knew my father could be so treacherous."

"The only treacherous person, was your whore of a mother! You ungrateful waste of a life!"

The mansion became incredibly silent after Sung Ho's outburst. The council members were in shock at the hatred the vampire seemed to have towards his son. Hothel watched Jimin, preparing himself to have to stop a brawl. However, Jimin's expression confused everyone in the home. The rest of the Park family had lined down the stairway, by this point. A deep chuckle rose within Jimin and quickly turned into a nearly hysterical laughter.

Sung Ho hissed at his laughing son. He felt disrespected and would not tolerate the embarrassment. He took off with incredible speed at his son and there was a loud crash and rumble that shook the entire mansion. Some of the council members noticed the marbled floors beginning to crack under their feet. Once they looked up, the sight was more than shocking.

Hothel had his hands holding Sung Ho's arms back, holding the insane vampire in place. The more shocking part was the way Jimin had his clawed fingers wrapped around his father's neck with a smirk on his face.

The younger Park squeezed his father's neck tighter, making it impossible for the vampire to speak. He could feel his throat slowly being crushed. "You know, father. I should crush your entire being," Jimin chuckled. His eyes were still their icy blue but they were glowing so much they probably could light up the room if the power were out.

"Jimin. I think you should.."

"I think I should let the council know my story! I think I SHOULD remove this piece of shit's life from his body! I THINK I SHOULD!" The way Jimin yelled into his father's face began to scare the people surrounding him, mainly his other family members. He could care less what they thought, because none of them tried to help him when he really needed it, not even his suddenly so helpful cousin. Fuck them all!

The floor began to crack more under their feet, making Hothel lose his stance, "Jimin! We will hear you out. I promise you if there is more than what we have told you, we do not know about it. What else has happened?"

"This beast...", Jimin began to speak but choked a bit as the tears he fought back earlier began to rush down his cheeks. He couldn't stop it, so he didn't. The other council members grabbed onto Sung Ho, who seemed to have fainted, "Sir Jimin, we will seal your father down so you can tell us what we need to know. Please let your father go."

Jimin's eyes found Hothel's and after a few minutes Jimin slowly dropped his hand from his father's throat. With a deep breath, the room began to rumble again, but the floors began to move back as they were before. Jimin kept taking deep breaths as his surroundings slowly fixed themselves. He had been ready to bury his whole family in that mansion. When the rumbling stopped, Jimin fell into one of the nearby chairs. He was exhausted. He could hear people talking to him and could even see them hovering over him but everything slowly began to turn black as he fell into a deep sleep.
