The sun had just shown it's face and Jungkook's phone was already ringing. He groaned as he rolled over on his side to grab his phone off his nigh stand. "Hello?" He answered groggily with his eyes still closed. "Get up! Today is the day! Job hunting, and you need to get an early start. I'm at the door too so open up." Namjoon's voice boomed from his phone and into his sensitive ears. He groaned again and rolled back on his back but he was staring at the ceiling now. "Bro, I love you I swear but I could kill you right now. It's 6 in the morning." He sighed heavily as he forced himself out of his bed, making his way to open his door.
Namjoon stood smiling at him, his dimples showing proudly. "I love you too little bro but you having a long night is not my problem. I have some people I want you to meet for possible job opportunities and they would rather meet you in the morning before they start their business day. We are going to go to the cafe down the street and they will meet us at different times. So, get dressed!" The handsome dimpled man said then smacked Jungkook's ass as if he was a horse, in order to get him moving.
Jungkook just stared at him for a few seconds with a bored expression then rolled his eyes before disappearing into his room to do as he was told.
Thirty minutes later, Kook was all dressed in a royal blue button up with fitted black slacks and dress shoes his brother bought him years ago. "Ready. Let's go." He said as he walked into the living room, stopping in front of his brother so the man could look him over. Namjoon didn't play when it came to dressing correction for any occasion. " Ah, you look so professional and as if you have more common sense than you do." Namjoon smirked then burst into laughter when Jungkook flipped him off.
They both bee-lined out the door. Namjoon chose to be the driver, just in case his little brother tried to slip away during their job hunting. However, Jungkook had no intentions of slipping away. He actually wanted to get a job but he just didn't want a boring one. If he was going to spend majority of his time working, he wanted it to be fun and worth his time.
The cafe wasn't too packed early in the morning but they still chose a small booth in one of the back corners. "I'm going to grab a coffee. Do you want anything?" Jungkook shook his head as he sat on the side of the both where he could see who entered the cafe. He hoped someone would show up soon because he wanted to get through everything as fast as he could. Later, he had some things to do, so he couldn't sit here all day.
Namjoon came back with a coffee and sat in the seat in front of his brother. "So, when is the first person coming?" Kook watched his brother drink his coffee. The man had a relaxed look on his face. He wondered what his brother has been up to lately. He realized he hasn't asked his only brother about his life in a long time. Was he happy? Seeing anyone? Shit, did he have kids?
" The first one is Ms. Valentine at 7:10, so we have 10 minutes. She has a flower shop not too far from your apartment." Jungkook made a face, "Hyung, I am not working in a flower shop." Joon laughed. "I know but just hear her out. I told her I'd help her find some workers and you're just one of them that I have her set up to talk to." Jungkook nodded as he understood, then looked up as if he got an idea. "Hyung, Is this a side job for you?" The dimpled man shook his head. "I just meet some nice people at the casino at times and offer to help them out when I can."
The cafe door opened and Jungkook saw an middle aged lady walk in wearing a floral body dress and purple heels. She was very attractive but not Kook's type. "There is a woman there. Is that her?" Namjoon turned then stood up from his seat as he waved the lady over. She smiled when she noticed them and made her way to them.
"Hello, I'm Ms. Valentine." She held her hand out for Jungkook to take and he did so with a firm hand shake. He could already see interest floating around in her eyes but he kept a polite smile on as they began talking about her business.
An hour passed and three people had come and gone. Unfortunately, none of the jobs they were offering were sparking anything within Jungkook so he began to feel a little bored. "Alright hyung, can we go now?" Namjoon shook his head as he sipped a tea he had just bought. "Nope, I have one more left. Mr. Park. However, he can't make the meeting for a personal reason so he is sending his son to discuss things with you." Jungkook nodded. "So what kind of job does Mr. Park own?"
"A nightclub. The Garden."
Both the men in the booth jumped a little at the response. The was a young man dressed so nicely, he looked like money. Jungkook looked at the man's face with curiosity as to how he didn't notice when the man arrived. "Hello, I am Jungkook and this is my hyung, Namjoon." They both stood to greet the already standing man.
The man grabbed his hand and Jungkook couldn't help but notice how soft his skin was. There was a slight chill to them but nothing too drastic. "Shall I tell you about my father's business?" Jungkook looked back at the man's face and instantly let go of his hand, bowing with apologies. He didn't realize he had been staring at their hands for so long.
"Uh, yeah. So what kind of night club? What do you need me to do?" Jungkook asked as they all sat back down. Namjoon was eyeing his little brother because he found it interesting how the man was now showing interest in the whole job hunting process. He smirked but sat back and let Kook take over the conversation, since that's what seemed to happening already.
Jungkook was internally losing his mind. The man sitting beside Namjoon was so attractive that he didn't know what to do with his body. He felt fidgety, like he wanted to touch the man to see if he was real. The soft but powerful look in the man's dark eyes was entrancing.
"Well, we need a bartender, so you would be just that. Also, the club is like any other club in the city. anyone is welcome to it within age range, which is 21 and up. I'm sure you're 21 or over so there would be no problem with you bartending." He passed a quick smile before looking at Namjoon. " I was told you bartend, as well. We'd pay for you to train your brother at our facility on the drinks we make. I have a list of them for the both of you." He handed them two sheets of paper before standing. "I'm sorry but I need to be somewhere else soon so if you have any questions just refer to my father's number on the paper. By the way, I'm not sure if I said but my name is Jimin. I'm sure I will see you around." He glanced at Jungkook with those deep eyes before he nodded to both of them politely and walked out the cafe.
Namjoon looked over at Jungkook with a grin on his lips. "Damn, you need some tissue for all that drool?" Jungkook's attention snapped to his brother and he stuck his middle finger up at him. "Shut up, I wasn't drooling. Let his father know I'm interested and I'll start whenever." Namjoon laughed. "I'm sure you will. Should I get Jimin's number for you too?"
Jungkook smirked. "I can handle that part."
