"I NEED SLEEP," Claudia decided as everyone returned home from the muggle village after having ran into Remus and the others.

She didn't even look for their reactions or understanding faces as she said that, she simply just walked up the staircase with no other intention but to crash down onto her pillow and sleep away the rest of that entire emotional mess of a day.

Regulus and the others shared weary glances out of worry over how she was dealing with seeing Remus and the others again, before Regulus followed up the stairs after her, two steps at a time.

"Claudia?" He said before she opened the door to their bedroom, nearing her and placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?"

She nodded with a small grin, "Peachy."

"That was something, huh?" He said, grinning back at her as a response to her sarcasm.

"I don't even think that covers it," she mumbled.

"Yeah," he said. "But, I just have to ask you something."

"Yeah?"

"What did you and Potter talk about?"

"Oh," she replied with a small shrug. "Nothing much. He asked me if I wanted to go get some coffee with him or something."

"And what did you say?"

She looked up at him, and decided to opt for not telling the truth even if she didn't know why she couldn't.

"No."

"Okay," he nodded, smiling a little and then wrapping his arms around her in a hug. "I'm proud of you."

"Why?"

"For handling it as well as you did," he said, breaking the hug. "And for knowing not to let them in."

"Oh, uh-"

"If you need anything just tell me, okay? I'll be downstairs."

She nodded, "Thanks, Reg."

"Of course, Dia," he said. "Try to get some rest, alright?"

"Yeah," she nodded with a small smile of appreciation, entering their bedroom and shutting the door, only to rest her back against it as she took a deep breath.

Great, she thought. Not only am I the most miserable person on earth, I am also a person who lies to their husband.

Then, she practically lunged herself onto the bed, buried her face in her pillow and let out a groan of frustration that muffled against it.

She felt completely empty inside at first. It was honestly a strange thing, because when she was younger she was always emotional about everything.
