"THE NEXT TIME I SEE YOU, THINGS WILL FINALLY BE ALRIGHT," Remus said quietly to her.

They were about to leave. Separate. The tent had been packed up, and Claudia and Regulus were about to go back to Maple manor whilst Remus was going to finish his mission for the Order.

That meant that it was only a matter of time until something big was going to happen. They just had to hope things would be okay.

"Oh, don't say that," Claudia replied to Remus.

"Why not?"

"Because," she shrugged. "What if things don't actually work out?"

"They will," Remus said with a stern nod and a certain glimt in his eyes. "I've decided they will."

"You've decided?

"Yes," he said. "And besides, I think it's time you and I try to be a little positive. Maybe the reason everything turns to shit all the time in our lives is because we don't let things be good."

Claudia scoffed, "Or maybe it's because I have an abusive father and there's a raging war out there with a bunch of evil people killing our friends."

"Yeah," said Remus. "You're right. That's probably why."

"Yeah, probably," Claudia said with a little smile. "Well then, goodbye."

"That's all I get?"

"We can follow it up next time we see each other," she shrugged.

"Now you're doing what I tried to do," Remus replied as he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and placed a quick kiss on her forehead. "Well then. Goodbye, Claudia. Next time I see you, things will be okay."

She nodded, resting her head against his chest for a second before breaking apart from him with a nod, "Bye."

He smiled warmly and leant down to kiss her softly on the lips.

"See you soon," he said, nodding towards Regulus before backing away and disappearing with a crack! as Claudia watched him as worriedly as she could, making Regulus feel rather worried as well.

"He'll be alright," the dark haired boy said assuringly.

"I know," she responded. "But will we?"

"Claudia..."

"We're always separated, him and I," she said solemnly. "I hate it. And now...oh, Reg, what if you're right and something does go wrong at the manor? What if this was the last time I saw him? I didn't even say...oh fuck-"

"This is not the last time you see him," Regulus responded in his same old comforting ways. "I won't allow it."
