ON THE FIRST of September, Regulus left Grimmauld Place to run a couple of errands before Claudia even got the chance to wake up.

When she did, however, she was met by a sweet little note telling her that he'd be back later and that he hoped that she had gotten a good night's sleep.

With a small little smile, Claudia got out of bed, only to get dressed and ready for the day. She had gotten a letter from Jo, who had asked if she wanted to come to her coffeeshop for a cup of coffee.

Claudia accepted of course, but she asked if they could meet up at Jo's place instead of out in the open, where she could run into practically anyone...and by anyone she was thinking about Remus.

Honestly, Claudia wasn't sure what the hell even was going on in her life.

She wanted to come see Remus and the others again, but had chosen to ignore their letters and push it away just because she was so confused over if there would be big consequences of spending some time with them or not.

She knew for sure that she couldn't keep herself to her boundaries whenever she was around all of them, especially considering how she had almost kissed Remus, how she had told them about her life and so on. She just couldn't control herself around them, and that scared her away a bit in all honesty.

So, opting for shoving the problem away and pretending as if it wasn't there was something Claudia ended up doing. And, it definitely helped that she was all up in a completely different task to avoid thinking of it.

As you already know, David had joined Claudia and Regulus' mission to find, and now destroy the locket that they were certain was a Horcrux that the Dark Lord had made.

And on accident, Ella and Cora had found out all about it. So now, five inhabitants (which was excluding Kreacher who was very sick of it all) of Grimmauld Place were actively trying to figure out how to destroy it.

The book that Claudia had stolen from Jo contained as much as they believed that they needed to be able to destroy it, but it was hard to read and get through due to how it was filled with so much horrible and evil magic that they all found it completely repulsive.

In fact, Regulus seemed to be the only one who was able to continue reading after a while, due to the fact that such books were familiar things to him.

But, when Claudia had first showed Regulus the book and they had began reading, they hadn't quite realised something crucial.

A page was torn away.

And what page was that you may ask?

Well, it seemed that it was the one that would've helped them with suggestions on how to destroy it.
