A smile crept on Thea's face as she watched her twin sons, Aaron and Alaric, running around their garden. Both were chasing each others, their laughs echoed around the house. She remembered the day she delivered them into this world. It was painful, but the pain worth everything.
Aaron Jesse Williams was born 10 minutes ahead of Alaric Jean Williams. Both just turned 6 years old recently.
Aaron had Thea's eyes, whereas Alaric had Arthur's eyes. Aaron was a typical cheerful child, whereas Alaric was more shy, but once he was comfortable around new people he would be more open and quite talkative. Both of them got along together and became pretty much the trouble makers in the house.
The first few months after their birth was hard for Thea. Not only that she experienced baby blues syndrome, which thankfully happened only for a week, she also struggled to adjust to her new life now that she had twins to raise together.
Arthur had stayed with her the whole time, giving as many help as he could. He had been very supportive for her. He worked from home for the first few months after the twins were born, and only went to the office if there was an emergency. Thea was thankful for him for the help.
She eventually had resigned from her job permanently to focus on raising the twins. It was a tough decision to make, she loved her job, her best-friends, and her brother in law boss. But she made the right decision to resign, all for the twins.
A high pitch voice reached her, she became alert with the boys' bickering. "Aaron, baby, don't pull your brother's hair."
"But he started it!"
"No, Mummy, he started it!" both pointed to each others.
She let out a tired sigh, the boys loved to mess with each others, sometimes hurt themselves. Their father had warned them to go easy on each others whenever they play. They promised him, but she should know that they were too stubborn. They were just kids anyway.
"Help Mummy, go play with Rory and Vivien, okay?"
Rory was Lily's and River's daughter. And Vivien was Bella's and Steve's daughter.
"Okay, Mummy!" both said in unison before joining the girls.
Thea hosted a gathering party in their house, with their family and close friends. They did this every once in a while, mostly before Thanksgiving. Everyone was already in the house except Arthur, who went to pick up Josh from school.
Josh has lived with them now after Jessy passed away 3 years ago from brain tumor. It was the hardest moment for him, he was only 6 when he lost her. The loss took a toll on him.
He would cry every night asking for his mother, he refused to go to school or came out of his room. Arthur and Thea had been worried about him but both had also been there for him, giving as many support and love so he would feel better. It took him a while to start talking again, he was still upset with her death but he had gotten better now.
He was 10 years old now, and happier with his life. He was a smart kid in school, he loved to play piano and was very good at football. He had twin brothers to play with so he wouldn't get lonely. And he loved the twins a lot.
Arthur and Thea were glad that the twins loved their big brother, once they were old enough to understand things and began to talk, they would always go to him and ask him to play with them. They all got along and always spend time together everyday.
Sometimes Josh would rather sleep in the twins' bedroom. One time, Thea found him reading a bedtime story to the twins when they were around 3. Since then, Josh would always read them a bedtime story until now. He also loved to spoil them with hugs. He was being a good brother to the twins.
