Chapter 9: I'll love her endlessly.

Chapter 9:

[Draken's POV]

Haru has been avoiding me since the incident at the Sano's dojo. I sort of understand why she would since I lied to her, but I did tell her to go home and I couldn't go to her so why would she stay out that late? 

Besides Emma needed me, I couldn't just leave her crying on new year's eve. Haru should understand that I needed to comfort Emma since she went through something hard that night.

Today was our first day back to school and I was bored out of my mind. Mikey was, as usual, asleep even during class while Haru, she's diligently taking notes about the lecture. About a week has passed since what happened, but not once have I heard her speak or seen her smile. She was like a ghost, the way she's been acting recently worries me.

"Kitagawa-sensei, excuse our intrusion," 2 police officers came knocking in our classroom, a bunch of students and teachers then surrounded our room to see what was happening. Why are there police officers at our school?

"Is anything wrong?" Our teacher asked, confused.

"We would like to excuse Kazehaya Haruka-san," one of the police officers answered, "Kazehaya-san, please come to the faculty room with us,"

Haru got up from her seat and excused herself from class, she then followed the 2 police officers to the faculty room.

What the fuck was going on? What does the police want with Haru? I quickly got up from my seat and rushed towards the faculty room, ignoring the teacher's calls.

Once I arrived at the faculty room, Haru was sitting in the middle of the room with about 5 police officers and several other people, Misaki-san was also there with Haru.

"Hasegawa Misaki, I'm her guardian," Misaki-san introduced herself to the people that are in the room. "I'm sort of her adoptive mother,"

"Please have a seat," one of the teachers offered Misaki-san, "Haruka-chan, do you know why you are here?" 

She slowly nodded in response, it was obvious she didn't want to be here right now.

"Kazehaya-san, are these the boys who assaulted you that night?" The principal asked Haru who hesitantly nodded.

Assaulted? She was assaulted? When did that happen? How did that happen? She never leaves the brothel!

"Assaulted?" Misaki-san asked, she was also not aware that this has happened to Haru. "What exactly happened?"

"These young boys tried to rape her a week ago," The police officer said referring to these high school deliquents who were with their parents.

"She was what?!" I burst out angrily from the faculty room door. 

"Draken," She mumbled, quite surprised to me.

"Ryuguji-san, please go back to your class," The principal told me, but I was not having it. Why hasn't she told me about this? A week ago? She's been keeping this to herself for a week now?! Is this why she looked so depressed lately?

"I'm going to kill you!" I threatened the ones who assaulted her. One of the fathers of the boys quickly went to his knees and bowed down asking for forgiveness for what his son has done.

"We are very sorry!" He cried, "We promise to keep an eye on him from now on, he will no longer step foot in this district, so please have mercy on my son!"

"You're kidding me, right?!" I yelled at him, 

"Haruka-chan, when did this happen?" Misaki-san asked Haru but she did not respond,
