Chapter 20: Mitsuya Takashi

Chapter 20:

This was my first night without Draken and I couldn't fall asleep, I don't know if it's because I wasn't used to Draken not being here or my trauma was making it difficult, either way, it was hard being alone.

But I can't depend on him forever, he has his own life and needs to go back to the brothel at some point.

"This is the first Valentine's Day that I'll be celebrating with a boyfriend but he has other plans, how unfortunate," I told myself as I was fixing the bed,

I wonder what I should do today?

Draken said he'll drop by later but who knows how long will he stay, he might just grab his things then leave so planning anything for him today isn't a good idea. I don't want my efforts to be wasted again.

I just went out for groceries yesterday, but since I have nothing else to do might as well stock up.

After getting ready, I headed downtown to pick up a few things.

"I forgot what detergent I use," I mumbled to myself as I was in the laundry aisle looking for the brand I normally use. I know what it looks like but I can't seem to remember the name.

"Haru, what a surprise!" Mitsuya said with a grocery basket in his hand, 

"Mitsuya, you out grocery shopping too, huh? No date?" I asked,

"I'm not into stuff like that," He said, well, he did say he isn't into relationships and dating, "What are you looking for? Maybe I can help," 

"I can't remember the detergent I use at home, it's a pink bottle with roses on it," I told him,

"Oh, it must be Kao Rose Detergent," He told me, "It's not available here, but I recommend you use this instead, it's a little pricier but you don't need to use a lot so it last longer, it will save you money in the long run,"

"I'll give it a shot," I said as I took his recommended detergent,

We spend the whole morning doing our groceries together and I had to admit spending time with Mitsuya was really fun and I learned a lot about the best products to use.

After finishing grocery shopping, we were about to go our separate ways.

"Thanks for your help," I told him,

"Sure thing, I'll see you on Monday at school," He said, suddenly my stomach started rumbling from hunger, and by the look on Mitsuya's face, he heard it.

How embarrassing!

"Sorry about that, I haven't eaten since last night," I nervously admitted, I forgot I didn't eat dinner because I was waiting for Draken but he never came home, 

"Why don't you have lunch with me at my place, my apartment is near here," He told me, 

"No, I don't want to be a bother," I told him, he then held my wrist and tugged me in the other direction,

"Come on, I already cooked lunch before going here," He said as we headed in the direction of his apartment, it was literally just a few blocks away.

He opened the door to his apartment and was greeted by his 2 little sisters, I met them before during the new year if I remember correctly,

"Haru, you remember Mana and Luna," Mitsuya said as he introduced me to his little sisters, they were both hesitant and shy to approach me at first but eventually warmed up to me,

After eating lunch, Mitsuya was at the kitchen washing dishes while I played with his little sisters. I volunteered to clean but he said I was a guest so I shouldn't.
