As you stand there staring at the unknown person, you ask yourself what you're going to do. Should you approach them? Suddenly, the figure turns around. It's a woman with puffy, grey hair and a blue outfit. She looks surprised for a moment, then smiles.
"Well, hello there," she says, "I haven't seen you around here before. Why are you here so late at night?"
Wait... She's not questioning why you're in her house, but why you're in her house so late at night? Weird..."Oh- Sorry," you mutter, "I was hanging out with Camilo, and practically had to drag him back here because he was so tired. I'm just in here to get him some water."
"Oh, is that so?" The woman laughs, "Wait... did he force you to come down here for water?" She looks at you concerned."N-no ma'am," you stutter, "It's definitely the other way around."
"Ah, ok," she nods. You're both silent for a moment."Oh," she realizes, "I haven't introduced myself. Hi, I'm Julieta, Camilo's aunt."
"Oh, Camilo told me about you!"
Her face lights up with joy."Also, I'm y/n," you finish. She looks at you, startled.
"Y/n... I recognize that name.... Do you take dance classes, by any chance...?"
Suddenly, you freeze. Do you what, now? Nervously, you nod your head.
"Yeah, I do. How did you know?"
The woman goes silent for a moment.
"I don't know..." She says. You look at her, slightly annoyed."I don't mean to come off as rude, but you definitely do. Who told you about me?"
"Well..." she exhales shakily,"Camilo did."
"What?" you ask, now very concerned. She looks at you with worried eyes.
"Camilo knew who you were before tonight, he just- couldn't bring himself to talk to you."
"What do you mean?""He usually does work on the far end of town, so he most likely sees you a lot."
"I've never seen him before, though."
"I don't know what to tell you," she sighs, "but I can't tell you any more."
"What?"Within the blink of an eye, she calmly scurries out of the kitchen. Well... that happened.... You were about to leave, when you remembered what you had come in there for. Casita brings you a cup, and you fill it with water.
As you turn to leave again, you see some lemons and sugar out of the corner of your eye. Surely they wouldn't mind if you used a little bit for their son. You poured a bit of sugar and lemon juice into the water.
As you do so, you realize you have nothing to stir it with. Immediately, Casita brings you a spoon. Thanking Casita, you quickly stir the mixture and make your way back upstairs.
Recipe for the special water:
(in case you're curious)
1 cup water
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
