30. You Know You Love Me

You can't help but snicker.
"Awh, c'mon amor~" you tease him, "you know you love me."

Camilo blushes and covers his face. He doesn't say anything, though.

"HE'S NOT DENYING IT!!!" Dolores bursts into the room.

"D-dolores, stoppp! This- this is so weirddd!" he stammers.

"Awh, refusing to admit you have a little crushy crush on y/n?"
"Dolores. We literally just hid a body, and you're worried about embarrassing me?"
"Uhhh- you're literally the one who won't shut up about her!"
"All I do is tell you about what we do together each day."
"That is a lie."
"No it's not."
"Oh, really?"

Suddenly, Dolores bends down to make herself as tall as Camilo.
"oOoO y/N iS sO pReTtY," she says in a mocking tone, "ShE's So NiCe AnD cArInG aNd CuTe AnD rEsPoNsIbLe AnD MaKeS mE sMiLe!"

When you look over, Camilo is blushing even harder.
"Although all of those things are true, I've never said that."
"Mhm, sure."

After thinking about this whole situation for a moment, you realize that Dolores is telling the truth. You've been told by 3 separate people that Camilo talks about you. It's ok, though. If anything, this is good. He probably likes you back, and he's just too scared to say anything.

Suddenly, Dolores snaps you out of your little trance. You look around, and Camilo is gone. He must have ran off because of all the pressure.

"Hey, are you ok?" Dolores asks.
"Oh- yeah... I just kinda zoned out."
"Oh, ok..."
With the lack of conversation, you decide it's best to leave for the day. However, before you can go anywhere, Dolores stops you.

"You know, he actually really likes you, right?"
"What? Like- actually?"
"Yeah- like... he LIKES you."
Your face lights up, but then you remember you're not supposed to be excited about this in front of Dolores. She'd make a big deal out of it. You try to change the emotion, but she already noticed. Too late.

"Wait- do you like-"
"-NOPE," you interrupt.
She shoots you a look of disappointment.
"Dang-"
"Ok, maybe."
Now it's her turn to be excited.

"GIRLLL ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!"
"Yes..."
"OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS BIG NEWS! I'VE GOTTA TELL HIM RIGHT AWAY!!!"
"NO!"
"WHY NOTTTTT?!"
"Because I wanna wait and tell him myself!"
"Awh... ok then..."

"Anyways, I should get going."
"Oh... Ok."

Before leaving, you stop by Camilo's room. You open the door, and the mirror is opened up. Hm.

When you look into the little room, surely enough, he's curled up in a pile of plushies.

"Hey, there," you say suddenly.
"EEK!" He falls off the pile and rolls over to your feet.
"Hi!"
"Hey," he says, looking up at you.
He hadn't seen you before, I guess.

"Hey, I'm going to be leaving for the day..."
"Oh...ok...."
"But uh...I was wondering if you wanted to go stargazing tomorrow night."
"Hm? Oh! Sure. Sounds like fun."
"Alright. I'll be coming over tomorrow, but I'll have to go home and then come back to get you."
"Can't you just meet me at wherever we're going?"
"No. I wanna take you somewhere special."
"Oh, ok."
"Anyways, I've gotta get going. Bye!"
"Oh- bye!"
