After holding onto you for another moment, Camilo lets go.
"Well, I'm assuming you're not going home tonight," he says.
"Yeah... but wait-" you stop, "where will I sleep?"
"Uhm," he thinks for a moment, "you know what? I wouldn't mind letting you use my bed."
"Oh- well uh-" you begin. He cuts you off.
"C'mon, let's go."Okie dokie then... You follow him back up to his room, but as he turns the door handle, he stops and freezes, turning a pale white.
"Are you alright?" you say, confused. He looks at you, and then back at the door.
"U-uhhh," he mutters, "Y-yeah. Yeah."
You blink aggressively at him as his response only feeds your confusion.
"H-hey," he says suddenly, "Do you mind waiting here while I clean up my room really quick?"What? His room wasn't dirty before. That's kind of suspicious.
"Actually, before I left, your room wasn't messy, therefore I know it's not messy now."
"Uh- you don't understand," he says, even more nervous than before. Before he can do anything, you push the door open. When you step in, the only change you notice is that the huge mirror on the wall is opened, which leads into a separate room. Curious, you run to the mirror.
Camilo, unsure of what to do, can't help but stand there in shock.
When you reach the mirror, you look into the unfamiliar room. The walls and ceiling are painted to look like the night sky: a mixture of black, purple, and blue. There are stars on the ceiling to go with the color scheme.
In the center of the room, there's a sleeping bag. An unlit lantern sits near it. You can't help but notice that the room smells like lavender.
Although all of this is fascinating to you, but there's one thing about the room that is definitely the most noticable.
All around the room, stuffed animals of all sizes are lining the walls. You can't help but gaze in astonishment.
This might be your new favorite room.
Then you remember: Camilo's still at the door. You look back at him, and he's staring at you awkwardly, as if his biggest secret had just been revealed.
"Mind explaining?" you say. He looks scared. He walks over to you and gazes in.
"Uhm-" he starts. You can tell he's panicking."Why didn't you show me this before?" you ask suddenly. He looks at you as if you'd just asked him in another language.
"W-what?" He can't help but be utterly confused."This room is literally so cool," you continue, "why didn't you tell me about it?"
"I- you don't think it's weird?"
"No?""But- I'm a guy, and I have-"
"Stop," you say quickly, cutting him off, "I don't wanna hear a single thing about those stupid gender stereotypes. You shouldn't have to hide this room just because you're scared of what people around you think."He sighs.
"You're right... but even then..." he stops, then starts again, "please don't tell my family."
