46. New Gift

"OH MY GOODNESS, MY LITTLE BOY IS ALL GROWN UP AND HAS A LITTLE GIRLFRIEND- EEEK," Pepa says as she scrambles down the stairs as fast as she can. When she reaches the bottom, she grabs Camilo in a big hug.

"MAMA!!!" he squeaks, unable to breathe.
"Oh, how I just knew that you and y/n would get together!!!" Pepa begins.
"Uhm... Pepa-?" Mrs. Alma says.
Pepa still continues: "Oh, you should be so thankful, mi hijo! You're such a lucky boy!"
"PEPA," Abuela yells.

Everyone jumps out of shock.

"Yes, mama?"
"The door?"
"Oh- of course."

Pepa grabs Camilo's hand, and drags him up the stairs... literally. The second Pepa makes contact with him, he falls over, and doesn't bother to get back up. You follow along close behind them. When you get up to the top of the staircase, everyone has their eyes on you.

"Care to explain?" Mrs. Alma says suddenly.
"Uh...." You're not sure what to say.
"Dolores practically already told us the story, so why don't you show us your gift?"
"Oh- uhm...."

You look around for an item to use, but when you see Camilo, you realize that it would be really funny if-

"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT," you hear. Camilo had seen you staring at him.
"I don't know about that.... Pepa?" You grab her attention. "Can you grab Camilo for me very quickly?"
"Sure thing," she says, grabbing Camilo's arm and dragging him over to you.
"Thank you."

He's struggling to get away from his mother, but the second you give him a boop on the nose, he knows it's over.

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!" he screams, floating up in the air. Everyone watches him ascend slowly with astonishment.

"WHAT THE HECK, Y/N," he screams, flailing his arms. Some people laugh, and others clap.
"We have a new gift!"
There is cheering. You can't help but blush and smile.

No one suspects a thing.
