48. Water You Doing?

It's 12 in the afternoon, and you and Camilo are sitting in his room... bored. There seems to be nothing to do today. Everyone is in town, and they haven't left you with even the slightest bit of a clue of what to do for the day.

You and Camilo both look at each other, thinking that it might spark an idea, but when nothing happens, you can't help but look away. Your minds feel just as dull as before. However, it is when you look away that your eyes meet with the still waters of one of the two pools in Camilo's room. This definitely gives you an idea.

You begin to inch closer to Camilo.
"What are you- HEY!"

You quickly snatch one of his shoes right off his foot and bolt for the door. Out of shock and disapproval, he hops up and begins running after you. After a few steps, he's already caught up to you. Suddenly, he grabs the back of your shirt to stop you...

but you were prepared for this.

You throw the shoe as hard as you can towards the corner of the room. After making a few rotations in the air, it hits the wall, and falls into the farthest part of the pool. Camilo runs to the edge of the pool—the ocean—that now separates him from his shoe.

"WHAT THE HECK, Y/N?!" He screeches, now reaching out to try and grab the shoe.
"I mean," you say in a low tone, "if you want it so bad, then go get it."

Suddenly, you shove him in.

"BGLRPH!"

He rises up to the surface, spitting out all the water in his system. Glaring at you he grabs his shoe and makes his way to the edge of the pool. You back up with caution.

"For what?" He says, sounding frustrated.
"Sorry, mi amor," you begin, "it was just an opportunitythat I couldn't pass up."

Camilo still looks upset. Not entirely knowing what to do, you bend down and touch the tip of your index finger to the tip of his nose.

"Boop."

Suddenly, he turns his head away from you, slightly blushing. He can't stay mad. You're too cute. You inch closer to Camilo little by little, trying to be funny. However, he takes this as an opportunity. Before you know it, suddenly you've joined him in the shallow pool.

"HEY!" you exclaim.
"Sorry, mi amor... I just couldn't help myself."

He reaches over and tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear, letting his hand retreat down to your shoulder. You look at him with confusion as he gazes into your eyes lovingly. You can't tell what it is exactly that he's thinking of, but you know it's positive.

When you least expect it, he picks you up and dunks you under the water. When he pulls you up, you gasp for air, and look at him. You swallowed a bit of water when you went under. It's difficult to breathe. Camilo notices your lack of breath and takes this as an opportunity.

"I'm sorry, mi vida. Let me help you with that."

Suddenly, he wraps his arms around your waist and begins kissing you. You can't help but lean into the kiss even more.

Suddenly, Dolores bursts in.

"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?"
"DOLORES!" you and Camilo screech.
