"THERE WE GO. THERE WE GO." DAD CHANTS STARING AT THE TV. i laugh seeing how happy my dad gets when the game comes on.
"feel that, feel that!" dad taps my leg. jaha laughs.
"there comes the momentum change!" dad raises his arm.
"defense!" wells yells at the tv.
"the defense is there." jaha talks with his hands.
"serve it up. yeah!" dad raises his arm cheering.
"oh!" jaha yells, bummed out.
"right here kids!" dad raises his hand up for a high five as we all smile.
"they're unbeatable."
"prepare for crushing defeat." clarke tells wells.
"it's not over yet." wells said not taking his eyes off the screen.
"actually, it was over 147 years ago." i laugh.
"a technicality." jaha waved his arm.
"no. you're going down!" dad smiles. mom walked in with a bag in her arm.
"what'd i miss?"
"hi mom!" i smiled.
"your husband and daughters being obnoxious." jaha said.
"hi baby, and jake you better play nice." she set her things down laughing at jana's remark.
"come on, get down the field, fire!" wells yells. god i know nothing about sports.
"waste of time, waste of time. hey baby." mom came up behind dad.
"hi." she kissed him on the cheek and hugged into him.
"so, i ran into bennett when i was leaving the clinic and he has that system analysis that you asked for."
"oh oh oh, i feel the momentum."
