I WALK INTO DANTES OFFICE AS I HEAR A DEVICE BEEP. i look at the old man with furrowed brows, wondering why i'm here.
"thank you for coming." he says. i stand still and look at him.
"i've been told you visit medical three or four times a day asking about clarke." i stiff at the sound of her name.
"yeah, so? no one will even let me see her." i spat.
"that's because she's no longer here." he got up his chair. i furrow my brows as my nostrils flare.
"clarke ran away. i tried to convince her that she was safe here. but she couldn't stop looking for enemies when she was among friends." he paced.
"what are you talking about? clarke, wouldn't abandon us." i scoffed.
"i wish it wasn't the case." he replied.
"well, are you looking for her?" i asked him.
"i can't risk the lives of my people to bring back someone who doesn't wanna be here. i hope you can understand that." he answered.
"yeah." i mumbled and looked down.
"what i can do is let you go after her yourself." i shot my head up at his response.
"can i come back?" i asked.
"of course you can. athena, this is your home now. you're welcome to stay here as long as you like." he puts his hand on my shoulder and then walks over to the door as he opens it.
"let me know what you decide." i nod my head and walk out.

"i don't know, but clarke did leave us, monty. she faked being crazy to get into medical and she took off." i told him.
"we need to go after her." monty spoke.
"she did this to herself." jasper says.
maya cuts us off as she walks in. me, monty and atom look at like each other. i grab a bag and start to pack stuff.
