JASPER WAS FINALLY DISCHARGED. he came into the dormitory saying that we should donate our blood to the mountain people and that it'll help them.
"guys, think about everything they've done for us. they gave us shelter, clean clothes. they kept us safe from the grounders." he paused and looked at miller, as everyone crossed their arms and looked at jasper as if he was crazy. which he is.
"miller? they saved your life, right?" jasper said.
"dude, you puked for days." miller looked at jasper.
"that was different. normal treatments wouldn't be as bad." he tried to convince us.
"so they say." monty said from his bunk as he sat next to harper.
"they're using us jasper, they're gonna harvest us." i looked at them.
"what are you talking about, athena?" atom asked me.
"they were having a conversation. i over heard them." i furrowed my brows.
"who?" jasper asked me.
"doctor tising, the president, and his son." i looked at him.
"what else were they talking about?" he asked me again.
"they were just talking about using us. especially me, something's special with me." i got up from where i was sitting.
"i'm out." miller said.
"i'm out too." atom says from beside me.
"sorry, jasper. i'm not doing this either." harper got up. everyone else started walking away.
"come on!" jasper says disappointed.
"they gave us cake. i got a sign up sheet, if you—" jasper couldn't finish.
"what are you doing?" monty asked him as he also got up from his bunk.
"what?" jasper asked him.
"when did you start working for them." monty questioned him. i got closer to them so me and atom could join the conversation.
"jasper, now that your better we're going after clarke." i looked at him. the door opens and i look next to jasper and see maya.
