MY EYES FLUTTER OPEN AS I LOOK AROUND THE BRIGHT WHITE ROOM. i furrow my brows wondering how i got here. i take in my surroundings hearing classical music playing.
i look at my body seeing an iv in my veins. i quickly rip it out, wincing at the pain. i get up and go straight to the door. i see a blonde across me, i quickly realized it was my sister.
"CLARKE!" i shout, trying to open the locked door. i look to the side of her door and read a sign. "mount weather quarantine ward."
i furrow my brows and look at clarke.

a man holds me by an arm, he claimed we were going to see clarke. i followed the old man, who was with a doctor, two other men, and a girl. we walk through a metal door and see the blonde, bound to a bed.
"hello, clarke. how is your arm?" we get closer.
"clarke!" i run to her. i hug her and look back at them.
"untie her." i say.
"restraints aren't necessary." he tells a man.
"yes, mr.president." i furrow my brows at the unusual name.
"not much of a talker is she?" the doctor says.
"a skill picked up from the savages, no doubt. that's fine." the older man spoke.
"maya has something to say first anyway." the girl has her arms crossed.
"you were the next one to be cleared through quarantine. another 10 minutes and you would have—" maya gets cut off.
"—ahem." the old men clears his throat to stop her from talking.
"i'm not pressing charges." she mumbled.
"thank you, maya. you can get your treatment now."
"okay come on maya, bed three." the doctor leds her away.
"dante wallace." he reaches his hand out. clarke looks at it.
"oil paint. heh, that's right. you're an artist too." he smiles.
