I'D WAKEN UP IN BELLAMYS BED, HEARING LOUD CHATTER OUTSIDE. i nudge bellamy's sleeping body as i hear octavia calling his name. he gets up and puts back on his boxers and pants. i wrap a blanket around me and we walk out together.
"there!" octavia points to the sky.
"they're coming to help us. now we can kick some grounder ass." another shirtless boy comes up behind us.
"yeah!" people agree with the boy
"please tell me they brought down some shampoo." a girl says behind me.
i look back at bellamy and see his jaw clenched. i furrow my brows and look at him. he grabs a hold of my hand and squeezes it.

"if it cleared the ridge, it's probably near the lake." octavia walks in the tent.
"we should get moving. everyone's ready." octavia says.
"no one is going anywhere, not while it's dark. it isn't safe. we'll head it at first light. pass the word around." bellamy says, the boys walk out the tent.
"everyone from 100 miles saw this thing come down, what if the grounders get to it first." octavia spoke.
"she's right." i back her up, bellamy looks back and his face softens. octavia sends a small smile towards me, knowing that i'll have her back.
"bell, we should go now." octavia pressed.
"i said we wait until sunrise." bellamy walks out, me and octavia rolled our eyes and walk out together.

i walk up to finn and clarke.
"did you guys see that?" i ask them smiling.
"you know it's from the ark. right? it had to be." i tell them.
"grab your stuff. let's find out, athena." clarke smiles.
"bellamy said we're gonna wait until sunrise." i turn my head.
"where is he?" clarke walks over to his tent. i followed behind finn and walk into his empty tent.
"where the hell is bellamy?" clarke turns back to me.
"he took off a while ago." i replied.
"gears gone." finn looked around.
"he told everyone to stay. whatever's in that thing, he wants it. we've gotta get there before he does." clarke and finn walk out. i follow them.
