I WALK UP TO THE EXPLOSION WITH CLARKE BY MY SIDE. we never fully talked about how'd it be like if mom were gone, forever. pieces of the ship were broken off, smoke came from some parts of the crash.
i turn my head and see a burned skeleton.
"god." i mumbled.
clarke bends down to smell something.
"ew." she steps back getting away from the foul smell.
"clarke stop!" raven yelled running towards her.
"rocket fuel?" she questions with her hand to her nose.
"hydrazine, highly unstable in its non solid form. if this stuff meets fire, we're all pink mist." raven grabbed a rock and dipped it into the fluid.
"fire in the hole!" raven shouted throwing the rock into a small fire. once the rock landed into the fire, the flames grew and caused a huge explosion.
"oh!"
"we need to clear the area!" raven yelled at bellamy.
"okay, then. we move in formation, no straggling, weapons hot! we got to get back before dark!" bellamy ordered.
me and clarke stepped of the ledge we were on and walked down.

"where is he?" i walk into the dropship. i look at the boy sitting in the corner, covered in blood. i couldn't even recognize him at first.
"everyone but connor and derek out, now!" bellamy orders. a group of teens leave the dropship.
"he claims he was with the grounders."
"we caught him trying to sneak back into camp."
"i wasn't sneaking. i was running from the grounders." murphy spoke in a low voice.
"anyone see grounders?" bellamy looked at murphy. the two boys shook their heads.
"well, in that case—" bellamy points his gun at murphy.
"bellamy, stop! what the hell is wrong with you?" i yell and pull the gun down so it's not aiming at murphy.
"we were clear what would happen is he came back!" bellamy yelled back.
