Athena and Camille were the first ones up

Athena and Camille were the first ones up. Athena woke up from a nightmare which she didn't remember much but that she was surrounded by complete darkness. For Camille, it was a habit for her to be up by 7 in the morning. Athena washed up and went down, she knew Fleur would be down soon because every weekend, Fleur barges into her room at 7:30 in the morning.

"Hey Baby, why are you up early? You are never awake until at least 10." Athena gave her an offended look but she can't say anything because she knows it is true.

"Morning Mama, a nightmare. I don't exactly remember much though, except for darkness." Athena went towards the fridge to get an apple. For a pureblooded family, there are a lot of muggle appliances in their home, Camille thought it would be easier. Camille went over to her daughter and kissed her temple.

"If you need me, I'm here." Athena smiled at her mother, it was soft and kind. That was all Camille needed from her daughter, it was also enough for her to continue for the day, of course, with a cup or two of coffee.

Athena sat beside her mother as she glances at the newspaper her mother was reading. Athena got bored at the first sentence so she decided to continue to munch on her apple and lay her head on her mother's shoulder. "So, Mama. You and Apolline used to date didn't ya?" Athena smirked as her mother almost spat out her coffee.

"How did you- I- " Athena laughed at her mother forming incoherent sentences. Camille places her coffee down on the table, to prevent spilling any coffee on her outfit.

"Now I know. I just needed to confirm." Athena said as she waited for her mother to explain their history.

"Someone's coming," Camille said, Athena just hummed her an answer.
