"What are you doing?" Alexis asked as she watched Athena scanning the structure of her own house and laying some thick mats on the ground. Her brothers were throwing the Quaffle around, and their brooms were confiscated by Camille when she caught them sneaking out late at night. What's worst was that they didn't think to take their wands or Aurors.
"She's scanning the house —" Damon answered for his sister.
"— Even though she knew it perfectly." Corvus continued.
"Yeah...I-i still don't get what's going on?" Alexis stuttered as she got even more confused.
"She is finding the quickest way to get to the roof," Atlas explained as he got the Quaffle thrown at his face. His brothers laughed as he fell dramatically to the ground, his face in his hands, while his sister and her roommates chuckled. "Since we can't apparate legally yet."
Corvus handed the bag of chalking so she could put it on herself. Corvus reminded Athena she could only have two hours since they had to head to the Ministry for a ball for their mother's birthday. Atlas went inside to get their clothes ready, whereas Damon went in to prepare some drinks and snacks to fill them for a bit.
"Okay, why are you climbing to the roof?"
"I am getting overwhelmed. We can't use magic outside the school, and all the adults are at work. So my mum placed some spells on our spot. Also, it's a workout." Alexis chuckled and nodded as she took her place beside Athena and Corvus, also scanning the scale of the Château.
"You know what you should do or shouldn't do —" Athena nodded as she stretched herself to avoid being sore the next day or pulling a muscle. "— If you need anything, shout. Careful." Athena hummed a response as Corvus helped her relax her shoulders, and Alexis gave her some water before she started.
"So this is how she climbs to the roofs without her broom..." Alexis emphasised, getting even more impressed with her roommate. Corvus chuckled and nodded as Athena slowly started to grip the wall of the house and ascend to the roof. "No ropes or anything?"
"Our dad enchants these mats. So if she falls, she wouldn't get injured or anything." Athena swiftly climbed to the roof as she was already used to the terrain and challenges she had conquered many times before.
"How many times did she —" Alexis questioned as she gestured weirdly, trying to mimic Athena's moves.
"A lot. She said this was easier than our mansion back in England, from what she told us. Since the architecture here is more complex here than in England."
