Sunday, 31st October 1994 {The Choosing of Champions}
"Athena," Alexis whined as she tried to wake Athena up—what a pain in the ass to wake Athena up. "It's 7:34. Wake up!" Athena groaned as she sat up, feeling the sting in her thigh. That was one way to wake her up. Fortunately, Alexis had already brought her clothes and set them on the broom.
"Why is everyone whacking me?"
"I'd kissed you, but Fleur would kill me. Go and wash up. I am joining you for breakfast. The Professor cancelled our class." Athena nodded as she complained in Spanish about why she had to wake up so early in the morning. She had decided to cancel their Quidditch practice for the day, seeing that most of her teammates were excited and needed a rest day. She has written to her team, and the delegations about her plans change. Athena informed them that the parties could meet her at one in the afternoon, which they wrote back within minutes, agreeing.
Once Athena was done, Alexis pulled her arm as they rushed down to the Great Hall. Alexis had heard about how the Weasley twins had devised a plan about putting their names in the Goblet, and she was also famished.
As they headed down the stairs to the Entrance Hall, they saw the Weasley Twins surrounding Hermione, and the duo could tell that Hermione was warning the twins that it wouldn't work. Athena decided to make it more interesting, "Oi, twins. Suppose you put your names in the cup with absolute success. The next two Quidditch practise are cancelled, and I will give you 20 galleons. Each."
"You know something, don't you?" Alexis whispered as she received a nod from Athena. Athena's brothers had joined them as the Weasley twins jumped across the age line, and cheers erupted for them. But next moment, there was a loud sizzling sound, and both twins were hurled out of the golden circle as though an invisible shot-putter had thrown them. They landed painfully, ten feet away on the cold stone floor, and to add insult to injury, there was a loud popping noise, and both sprouted identical long white beards.
Athena and her brothers burst out laughing as they stumbled down the stairs. "You knew!" Fred roared as he pointed at Athena before George tackled him and blamed each other for their current state and losses.
"Of course, I knew! I helped!" Athena managed between her laughs as she held Alexis up, who was dying of laughter.
Dumbledore emerged from the Great Hall and told them that they did warn them before suggesting they should go to see Madame Pomfrey and join several other students who have tried. The Weasley twins hurried off to the hospital wing, accompanied by Lee, who was howling with laughter. The student went back to discussing those Hogwarts students of seventeen or over who might be entering. Angelina joined and told them that she had put her name on the cup in embarrassment while Hermione encouraged her. The Ashryver Siblings and Alexis entered the Great Hall for some breakfast.
