Athena was asleep as Professor Snape went on with instructions about the class. Her brothers tried to hide that Athena was sleeping with the cauldron hiding her sleepy head. Their Slytherin classmates helped by blocking Snape's view with their bodies. Slytherins helping Gryffindors out? That you can only witness in the Ashryver's years.
"You will get into a group of three—" Students start to get up and go to their desired groupmates, hoping to be in groups with at least one of the Ashryvers or Mackenzie or the Beauxbatons students or even Krum. They are, after all, the smartest in the class. For Krum, it was an excellent excuse to start a conversation with him. "—That I have assigned. First group, Head Girl, Delacour, Krum—"
Many of their classmates groaned in annoyance at their missed opportunity to converse with the Champions or be paired with the smart people or any Ashryvers. Finally, Atlas and Damon asked for Athena's group mates to come over instead of her leaving her comfortable sleeping position.
"Hello," Krum greeted the Ashryver brothers and Fleur as he took Damon's seat while Fleur took Atlas's seat. Fleur arranged the table neatly so they could do everything more accessible and quicker. Krum read through the criteria that Snape had written on the board. They were making a Veritaserum. They were slightly behind schedule but did the students care? Nope. Krum hit their table a little bit too hard, which woke Athena up. Athena sat up, grumpy and looked to her left, hoping to find Damon but instead, it was Krum.
"What the heck did I miss?" Athena groaned, rubbing her face. Everything was too bright at the moment, so her eyes were closed as if she was still asleep.
Fleur slid her hand onto Athena's thigh, trying to soothe her grumpiness, "We will be group mates for the rest of the year. Profes or Snape assigned us three together." Athena gave her a pout, looking at her twin across her, who had the same pout but shrugged; there's nothing they can do. "We will be brewing Veritaserum."
Krum was flipping through his Potions book, but Athena swatted that book and opened hers. "We will be using mine and have perfect grades, I swear to you." Athena yawned and shook her head, trying to keep awake as her group read the instructions. Thanks to their time at the Headquarters, the Ashryver Siblings already knew how to make the truth potion. Athena crossed her legs, keeping Fleur's hand between her legs as she summoned the ingredients. Fleur gripped her thigh with a slight smirk while Krum was too busy reading the ingredient bottles that were slowly occupying their table.
Krum placed his hand on Athena's scarred underarm, which made Athena pull her arm away from him at lightning speed. Alexis straightened her back as she watched from behind, ready to intervene, and her brothers, who were across her, stood up, realising what Krum had done. Fleur made sure that Athena was calm by squeezing her thigh.
