Summer 1993 [Part 1]
"Where's Alexis?" Camille asked as she joined Athena on her bed. Juliette was trailing behind her sister as if she felt that Athena didn't want her there. That was not true; Athena patted the space beside her since Camille took the other side.
"Her brother is taking her for two weeks and travelling worldwide. I think her sister will be there too. It's been a while for Xis to see her sister."
"Why's that?" Juliette chimed in as Athena got comfortable, which caused the two older women to smile at Athena's adorableness.
"Allison is a Mediwitch. Currently, she is with the Holyhead Harpies, an all-female quidditch team in England. They are always busy all the time. You guys are particular late today."
"I had loads of paperwork."
"I had a mission that didn't go according to plan."
"I was just sleeping before you two rudely interrupted," Athena joked. Camille scoffed in disbelief and joked about leaving the room, while Juliette chuckled as she threatened to do the same. Finally, Athena apologised and placed her head on Camille's chest. "Jeez, you are so petty."
"You are, too," Juliette commented while Athena rolled her eyes in response.
"So, how's school? Despite the whole Chamber of Secrets situation." Athena smiled as she started with her storytelling. As Juliette listened to her only niece, she reminded her so much of how Camille is, whether an adult or a teenager. Being an observer, she could see how comfortable Athena was with them, not hiding her scars or her feelings. She could see how her sister was smiling to herself like a psychopath as she listened to her daughter. God, she knew Camille loved to listen to her people talk. She was grinning as she watched both her sister and niece without realising.
"I see that you have a hickey," Juliette stated as she eyed Athena's neck when scanning Athena for any injuries. Athena whipped her head to look at her aunt as she stuttered out an answer, well, more of a distraction. Camille sat up, practically shoving Athena off her chest.
"Who gave it to you!? Why didn't you tell me or write to me that you were dating?-"
Athena hid her face under her blanket, but her overprotective mother removed it. Athena gave her aunt an unimpressed look when she technically exposed her. "I am not dating anyone."
"Right, right, the only one you want to date is a certain Veela." Juliette reminded her sister, which caused Camille to burst into laughter. Athena clenched her jaw, hiding her smile, knowing it was true.
