"Please don't leave me," Fleur whimpered as she tightened her hold on Athena and Athena's back pulled towards Fleur's chest. Athena stirred awake when she felt uneasiness in Fleur and heard her whimpering. "Please, don't. Athena, don't leave me."
Athena could not turn in her position, so she swung her arm back to hold the back of Fleur's head and her other arm held onto Fleur's arm that was holding her close. "I will never leave you," Athena declared, slowly nudging Fleur awake. But, instead, Fleur jolts awake and pulls Athena impossibly closer.
"You're still here," Fleur whispered at Athena's neck. It sent vibrations down Athena's spine. Finally, Fleur released her grip, allowing Athena to move around slightly.
"Of course, I'm still here. I am never going to leave you." Athena said as she turned to face Fleur, bringing her to her arms.
"Merlin, I feel so stupid. I don't know why I had that dream or a nightmare. I thought you were going to leave me," Fleur whispered as tears slowly made their way down the side of her face.
"Shh, shh, I'm here. I have never thought about leaving ever since that day of your birthday in the first year we properly met." Athena confessed as she held Fleur's head close to her chest, allowing Fleur to listen to the rhythm of her heartbeats while placing kisses on her head.
"Great, now I'm an idiot," Fleur sobbed; Athena didn't care that her tank top was getting with Fleur's tears. "When you jumped in front of that curse, it scared the living life out of me—"
"—Fleur, I promised you that I would come back to you alive. Always. I intend on keeping that promise even though I broke some others."
"But you are leaving me when we go back to school."
"I wouldn't say so far as that. But, on the bright side, it is our last year, and then we can see each other every day since we are planning to work at the Headquarters. So for just this one time, be patient."
"Also, what do you mean by you wouldn't day as far as that?"
"Hmm...You have got to wait and see. Fancy a bath?"
"Together?" Fleur said as she sat up with her face still puffy.
"Damn right you are."

"Grand-mère! I would like you to meet Athena, my girlfriend." Fleur introduced Athena, her hand on Athena's back to soothe her nerves. She was slightly trembling. Fleur's grandmother was a pure Veela, so she could be extremely judgemental.
