Christian has arrived with me and has brought me up to speed and we have a meeting the people who will be my immediate staff and will help at every turn. They are there as my employees and as such are being directed by me. I am to act as if I actually own Kavanagh Media. He tells me that eventually the reins will be in my hands and his hands will be only come in at any time he is needed. He intends on eventually getting his money back and once he does his shares will be transferred to me and Elliott to do as we please with. I ask if Elliott knew any of this and he said it was his idea after the way they treated you and him they deserve some retribution. We head into the meeting and my parents aren't here yet, I look at Christian and he says they are in another meeting and will be brought in later.
Lizbeth
We are asked to attend a private meeting regarding the new leadership of our company. We were told very little and today we are going to find out what is going on in this meeting.
Ros Bailey
I think both of you know who I am by now. So you finally know who bought Kavanagh Media. In case you don't know I am Christian Grey's COO and he is the owner. I hope you get an idea of how this meeting is headed. First of all you will remain on staff, but not running the company we have decided on another Kavanagh to run it, I think you know her well. Too bad not well enough though. You also didn't expect her new brother in law to shake up the Kavanagh applecart. Here we are finally getting the older apples from the top of the tree in order for the tree to start growing again. You can be a useful apple or applesauce, the choice is yours. Now down to brass tacks. Both of you have no power at the higher levels and you will be listening to your daughter and doing as told and when told. Any dissension will be reported immediately. Your trusted assistants are now working for your daughter. You have to take what you can get at this point.

What if we don't do as asked?
Ros
I think you already know that. But since you asked let me tell you that your next meeting will be with the board who will have a few missing members by the end of the meeting. You don't want to do as asked and we end this meeting you clear out your personal things here and you resign immediately. No severance and no vacation pay and we both know you have no shares left. So you find new jobs at your age and how you ran this company it will be impossible. I think I would grab hold of that rope and hang onto it for life if I were you.

I guess we don't have any choice in the matter.

It sure sounds like it. Ros hands us forms to sign and I look at it and sign it, Ros reminds us to read it completely. When someone like Ros says read the agreements I read it. Lizbeth decides to follow suit. I question two things and Ros explains it to the both of us. We cannot talk to anyone regarding Kavanagh Media from this point on. Plus anything to do with Christian Grey or his family.
Ros
They decided to sign and I have them sign the NDA's for everything and hand them copies to sign for me and them to keep. We head to the other meeting and they are waiting for us, Christian made short work of getting all he wanted done done. I enter the room and Christian points to me and has me sit by him with Kate sitting on his other side.
Kate
I am sitting here and listening to the turn over of the reins of Kavanagh Media to me to run. I am very nervous, but Christian says his team will be here to help me through taking over the CEO position and he wants me to run it with an eye on the future. Ros will be available as well, Christian will help when he thinks I might need him. Right now he has a few improvements he is going have his people put in place along with the news systems and security upgrades and updates. Mom and dad have been told they will have new bosses. They will be management, but have to take a back seat. Finally Christian breaks the news to everyone that I am the new CEO and those who don't like it can resign now. If you stay you have to follow the new bosses in what they expect of you.
Christian
I tell the staff that a lot if changes are going into action and Kate will be leading them into a new future and with an eye on growing and keeping ahead of the curve on what's happening in the world and how it will be reported to the world. Social Media will be part of the new pathway now. Everyone will be trained to look ahead based on the trends. We finally open the floor to questions. I help Kate answer the questions and Ros does as well. Finally the meetings are over and everyone goes back to their offices and Lizbeth and Andrew are taken to h7man resources to get their new job descriptions and where their offices will be at now and get their new assistants. I suspect they won't last a month and if they do it will be because they have no choice to stay at this job. If they had just invested in their company and listened to Kate and a few of the bother staff about keeping up with the world of social media and on line presence they might still own their company.

I can't believe we have been knocked down to editors, both of us. Now Kate is the CEO. Well Christian Grey won't be here all the time and I think we can handle Kate.
Andrew
We are just heading out of HR to our new offices when we are asked to join Kate in her office now that we are done. An employee I don't recognize leads us to the top floor and a newly decorated office that was mine. This wasn't like this on Friday when I left with my possessions and they moved them to a new office. The rest of my things are in storage in the basement.
Kate
I watch as my parents walk in and see Ros, Christian, and Michael Peterson the new COO. Michael and I have been talking about what direction we are wanting the place to go and we agree that my parents need to hear just what is going to happen with them now. I pretty much tell them that they are here out of the goodness of Christian's heart and his family asked him not to fire them yet. I would have fired them had he not talk me out of it. But they have their job descriptions and that is what they are allowed to do. Their pay will be a lot less, but more than an editor as a new hire. Basically they will be getting the salary of an editor with ten years experience and hopefully they can handle the job. I let Michael say his peace, because he and my parents have had huge issues with one another when it comes to him not getting paid for his work properly.
Michael
From now on we have a new department that handle free lance reporters and photographers and how they will be paid and given credit for their work from now on. Not like what you two were doing to me and the rest of them. Take it run it and not pay what you promised. We will be known for being honest and keeping promises and having integrity and humanity. This is how Kavanagh Media will light the way for a better future. Kate and I spoke at lengths about our goals for this place. Now you have a choice you get on board or get out. Kate and I both agree if you don't do the new jobs you are presently in and use your status as her mom and dad you will be terminated immediately. Check your contracts that is in the document several places, keep that in mind. You will not get any special treatment here. No one even my wife in HR will not get it either and she knows and understands.
