With everything involved in the adopting of the baby boy it took a bit of time to organize everything and the baby was placed in foster care until we finally got the documentation completed and Christian and Anastasia Grey are now the proud parents of young James Allen Grey. We found out the whole story as to why his mother left the baby to the Grey's. The mother died shortly after leaving her son in the GEH public restroom. Mr Grey just happened in there that day out of the blue. It was meant for him and his wife to have this baby. Somehow the paperwork found it's way into a judge's hands that had been a foundling and moved the adoption up and took the baby from foster care and made sure it went to the adoptive parents. The judge had no idea who Anastasia and Christian Grey was at all. She was not one who followed news stories and that was why she was unbiased about it. Her only bias was against delaying the child's being adopted by parents who were clearly able to care for him and the mother wanted them to have him. She honored the mother's dying wish. Two weeks was all the time he spent in foster care. No strings had been pulled and we got a good judge, one that saw what it was like to be without parents.
Anastasia
James is finally our child and Christian is amazing with him, at first he was unsure about holding him, but now he can't stop himself from holding him. We decided to look into adopting again. Since I work from home it is easier to take care of James and we have everything baby proofed. Christian is so proud of being a father and we are all glad miss Douglas chose us to raise her baby boy. We were going to have her buried but a Good Samaritan paid for everything and we found her grave and went and thanked her for the blessing she gave us. She was found dead in the park sitting on a bench motionless facing the sunset. Her headstone was facing the same direction.
Christian
We were going to have James mother put in the Grey family plot, but after seeing where she was at and the headstone we decided she was where she was supposed to be. She was buried next to her husband and the rest of her family members all facing the sunset, unlike our family all facing the sunrise. The headstone was beautiful. Flowers were already placed on her grave. We placed ours and thanked her for choosing us for her son. Everything became final within two months and we were contacted about a new child needing adopted. Ellie Rae Grey was a three year old being taken care of by her only living relative left, her grandmother. Her grandmother passed away and we were asked if we would like to come and possibly adopt her. The caseworker who handled James recommended us to adopt Ellie. She was very timid at first, but smart and very talkative once she opened up. James was just four months old and we brought him with us to meet Ellie. We took her home that day. Mom and dad were the first family to meet Ellie. Elliott had a hay day about her name and Ellie became very fond of him very quickly. Mia is expecting again and all the other children are looking forward to the new baby. I think Anastasia is sad at not being able to have our own babies, but we now have two children who really needed homes and that seems to help. Augie is also pregnant.
Anastasia
Betty and Samuel told me that my mom and dad had issues having children, but had us finally. The doctors kept telling them nothing was wrong either and they just needed to relax. I am thrilled to give homes to these two we have and if we don't have our own we can give these a great home and a lot of love. Ellie is beside herself at how many cousins she has now and has become the center of attention. Her grandmother would be very proud of her, I know she cries for her nana and doesn't want to be held as she cries for her. She hugs this doll her nana made for her. It has an apron on and sewn in glasses that look like the ones her nana wore. Her nana created the doll from a photo of herself while cooking in her kitchen. Christian thought about getting his team in research and development to design various dolls like Ellie was given by her grandmother to console her at night. She finally came into the room when I was reading to James and she sat on my knee as we held James and read to him. Ellie was fast tracked adoption wise for several reasons. We couldn't talk about it, but the caseworker assured us that she was safe and no one knew where and who she was adopted by. It was a closed adoption. Everything was sealed.
Kate
I knew the whole story about Ellie, but I kept it to myself and only told Christian what I knew so he could be prepared if anything might happen. I thought he needed to know so he could ensure the safety of his family. Elliott is turning Ava into a tomboy, but she needs her nails done like mommy does. He can try, but she needs to be feminine like her mommy. She might play with the boys as well as the girls but she balances it out with being feminine as well.
Elliott
My little girl is a good balance between tomboy and feminine qualities as well. I met Ellie and she is a great little girl, Kate had a long chat with Christian and told me she had to tell him something about a story she needed to let him in on, but she wouldn't tell me anything about it. She handed him something and he nodded and he went inside to look at what she gave him. After he came back he went straight to Taylor and said something to him and Taylor started making calls. It must have been bad to get him to have Taylor calling people today.
