Lesson Learned The Hard Way

Charles
Mom and dad took me back home and had me placed in a hospital for the trauma. I wrote a letter to Caren begging for forgiveness. I am not sure how much damage I did to her, but I know how I am feeling about being raped. I am in therapy for mental and physical injuries. Mom and dad want to go after the boys who did this to me, but I am not sure about it at this point. The school is negotiating a quiet settlement with my parents at this point. I filed a report and they did a rape kit. Talk about demeaning. Now we are waiting to see if they get the evidence against Goodman as well. It was his friends who did this to me along with a few of the freshmen. I have three more surgeries to go to. Wearing a colostomy bag until they repair the damage done to me is disgusting. I have a catheter as well. Dad says they will go after all of them civilly and hopefully put them behind bars. I think it is ironic that I have been raped and want justice, but Caren didn't get her justice against me.
Donald
I hire the best attorney we can get to go after the school and the kids who did this to my son. The parents will be named along with the director of the school. I tried to get Charles to file charges against the students who did this, but he isn't sure he wants it known. The school is hoping they won't get any press on this situation, but Kate Kavanagh got wind of it and printed it before we could stop her. The one good thing is that it brought out more victims of these thugs. They want blood and by the time we were done it looked like the school knew about these kids and covered it up. No one stepped forward until now. The group are still there and some are of legal age. Unlike my son, who is still just 14. The photos show multiple hand prints on his arms and legs and bruises from the cuffs they put on him. I found out that the instigator of this wasn't present, but he ordered it to be done by his minions and even sone of the classmates of Charles. Ten guys were involved in it all. Goodman had just moved to senior level. So he is about to graduate. If I have my way he won't get that diploma or if he does it won't be worth a whole lot.
Mary
I cried when we saw Charles laying on his bed with bags hanging off his body and tubes and bruising all over him. I want blood, I knew it would be bad especially after seeing the photos of what he did to Caren. We have convinced him to have them prosecuted along with suing everyone involved in harming him. The lower class turned on Goodman and even his own class. We found out Goodman was a victim as well. Which should have convinced him not to do this to others. He just gave the orders to have it done.
Caren
Mom and dad opened the letter from Charles saying he was so very sorry and he found what it was like to be held down and violated by someone, but in his case it was ten someone's. They kept the letter just in case we need it. I am attending another school and Herbert and Henry and their siblings are attending it as well. We will be going to the same high school. We became close when we met at their family bbq. We were all invited to it after they found out about my twin girls being mixed up with their twin boys. Charles thought the twin boys the Grey adopted were his children and was going to cash in on it. My parents are their guardians until I am able to care them financially and otherwise. The money the Wilson's pay each month is just enough to cover the twins expenses. The settlement they gave me as damages is in a trust fund for later on, after college. It is over a million dollars, a million dollars for my virginity and my dignity. I am known as the girl raped and tossed away like trash under a bush. It is hard to hide something like that.
Herbert
Henry and I both have a crush on Caren and we think she knows it. Which is good, except she won't choose between us. She tells us we are far too young to get tied down to each other as girlfriend boyfriend kind of thing. Mom and dad have told us to give Caren time and space to heal from everything that happened to her and maybe she will decide what and who she wants one day soon.
Henry
Herbert and I are competing for Caren and it drives us bananas. She said we can be great friends for now. We are going to graduate the same year that Caren does. Caren has been fidgety over something and we don't know what it is for sure. Things weigh heavily on Carens mind after everything that has happened to her and she has twin girls to care for.
Mia
I like Caren and so does Robert, but Herbert and Henry more than like her and I asked them to give Caren a break and they should concentrate on getting a college education. Caren has told us that she plans on going to college and she will need her parents to care for her girls.
Herbert(the father)
I like Caren and she has shown strength that normally no one might otherwise not have. With Henry and Herbert both having crushes on her it makes me relax around her. We have advised Herbert and Henry to allow her time and space as well and let her choose later unless they find other young women to address as their girlfriend.
Mary
I like the  idea of Caren being friends with the Grey twins. She is safe around them.
Donald
I approve of the Grey twins being friends with Caren. She needs to have friends her age and they won't hurt her after knowing what they know. They figured things out regarding Caren being raped. I spoke to them about what they see happening between Caren and themselves.
