Later on, weeks have passed like a gush of wind. Almost every night, Y/N and the girls would cheer each other up because the loads of schoolwork they have.
Card game bets, monopoly, board games, exploding snaps will be scattered on the hard wood floor. Candle wax melted, pages turned, and so does their days and night.
"For today's class we're going to learn on how to perform nonverbal spells. Everyone pair up and try to protect yourselves from your partner's incantations but don't say the spell out loud," Professor Fortinbrass said to the whole classroom. "It is very much useful if you're fighting in a battle," he added.
Remus pulled Y/N aside so they were partners. "You're going first?"
"Okay," Y/N nodded briefly. She successfully blocked Remus' stun —though it would hit her if she waited one more second.
Remus gave her an impressed look as he shot out spells again. It seems like the girl isn't bad in defense after all.
Professor Fortinbrass walked around the classroom, giving a nod to Remus and Y/N's direction.
"It's your turn!" Y/N said as she shot a spell at him. "Rictumsempra!"
Remus stopped in his tracks as he felt tickling sensation all over his body. The girl laughed and approached him; undoing her spell. "Remus, you were supposed to dodge it!"
"I wasn't ready," he said grabbing her shoulders trying to keep his balance.
"Well what do you expect? Once you're in a battleground, you can't expect your opponent to warn you first," she grinned mischievously.
"Well one thing I should remind myself is to never bring you to a battlefield, my mind would get distracted," he teased.
Y/N felt her cheeks burning as he stood up. "Rictumsempra!" he pointed his wand in her direction.
She fell on her knees unable to contain the tickling sensation. "How dare you use my spell against me?" said she grimly.
"You were supposed to dodge it!" Remus tried to imitate her voice but failed miserably. Y/N huffed as he pulled her up.
"That sounded nothing like me," she grinned while rolling her eyes playfully "Let's continue."
Remus nodded and smiled cheekily as he walked to his spot again.

"Y/N, will it be okay if I stay over to your house during the summer?" Lily said as they walk together to the library. "Me and Petunia aren't in the best term at the moment."
"Of course, 9 Sherringford Square," the girl said simply.
"I hope I don't disturb your family's summer or anything," Lily pleaded.
"No you won't. Theo's probably going to his friend's house since he already passed his apparition test. My dad, he's busy — barely home. And my mum works at the ministry everyday —though not so much during the summer. You wouldn't bother anyone really," assured Y/N.
"Thank you!" Lily expressed, hugging her best friend.
"No worries," Y/N said: "I would be alone at home if you weren't staying. It's good to have you," she gave her a grin as she unroll a parchment to write her Transfiguration essay.
