22. A Small Departure

Another year has passed. Sadly to say, their eventful sixth year has came to an end. Y/N, Lily, and Marlene has been packing their belongings in each their trunks.

Y/N was very excited for this year's summer, her best friend Lily will stay over.

"Y/N, Mar, have you finished packing yet?" the auburn haired girl asked the two. "End year feast is about to start!"

"I'm done and am patiently waiting for her," Marlene stated as she closed her trunk.

"Wait, just give a minute!" Y/N said while folding her clothes and placed them on top of each other before shoving it inside her trunk.

Lily performed a charm that would clean their whole room with a flick of her wand. "All done and cleaned, we're ready to go tomorrow morning."

"I'm going to miss this place. Everything that happened this year will be- a lot to reminisce" Y/N stated thoughtfully.

First, she found out that her longtime friend is a werewolf. Second, she got in a relationship with the so-called werewolf. Third, Lily and James —who were once mortal enemies— look like something.

"Me too, but hey! next year we will definitely have more fun!" Marlene said excitedly.

The three walked down to the great hall as the feast started. Dumbledore delivered his yearly speeches and right after that, the food began to appear magically. The seven of them ate happily as they chatted what they'll do during the summer.

Y/N sat on the seat near the window. The majestic castle behind them became smaller and smaller as the train moved further and further.

Remus had his head in her shoulder as he read Dracula again. It seems like the book Y/N got for him during Christmas is his favourite. Y/N smiled to herself and buried her face in his sandy coloured hair.

After hours, the train became slower. King's Cross Station came into view; and oh- how much Y/N adored this station.

From the window, Y/N saw her mum and her aunt standing in the platform. Once the train came to a stop, she excitedly ran to her mum and hugged her; then aunt Queenie —she hasn't seen her in so long.

"I miss you mum, and you too aunt Queenie!" Y/N expressed, a huge smile was spread across her face.

"We missed you too sweetheart! Don't you want to say a goodbye to this certain Remus Lupin?" Tina smiled as she looked over Y/N's shoulder.

Y/N turned around and sprinted her way to his arms. "Remus, I will miss you so much! Write to me everyday or I'm sending frogs to your bed."

The boy chuckled as he squeezed her slightly. "Of course I'll write to you! And please don't do that, darling."
