"Kill the sin--not the sinner.
Forgive him, for real;
Yet, beware, beware!"

Thursday morning. Time 7:30 am.

A murder has been reported from the south side of the city. I've been ordered to reach the crime scene asap. A dead body of a woman has been discovered lying in the middle of the road. In suspicious circumstances.

After examining and securing all the pieces of evidence around we found little to nothing related to the killer. Authorities know it's a clear-cut murder looking at the way how the neck was slit precisely. The cadaver has been bagged and removed to the city morgue, for autopsy, identification, and further investigations. Noticeably, some strange signs were written on her arm with a blade that looked like an ancient language. ᚱᛖᛏᚢᚱᚾ ᛏᚩ ᛠᚱᚦ

Time to enquire people living around. No one was aware that there'd been a murder last night until this morning. As well, nobody was familiar with the face of the dead.

After making inquiries in nearby neighboring houses, came the turn of the house in front of which the murder took place.

Ding Dong!

Seokmin rang the bell. No one answered.

Ding Dong!

Nobody came for a minute. He knocked hard on the door. The door opened slowly. A guy peered at us from behind the door.

These eyes...

"Police," said Mingyu showing his ID card. "Here for the murder inquiry, may we come in?"

He opened the door fully, and my eyes get wide in surprise, I quickly turned around, trying to hide from him.

No one else on this whole planet but he had to be here.

He bowed politely to them as the gentleman he is. One by one they went inside the house whilst I chose to wait outside leaning my back against the door. Don't have enough courage to meet his eyes. One glimpse of him and all those past memories resurfaced in my mind. The more I'm thinking about not seeing him, the more I want to see him.

I can hear them pretty well through the door.

"Whatever is asked, answer honestly," voice of Seokmin

"Is this house yours?"

"Do you live alone?"

"What's your name?"

"What do you do?"

They were bombarding him with questions to which none answer came. He hates to be questioned.

"What happened? Why're you so silent?"

I know why.

I was pondering whether to go inside for his help or not.

"Will you speak here or in the police station?" Wonwoo said sternly.
