I'm alive bitches!

I slightly opened my eyes, "Jeez!", and knew I finally came back into my consciousness, because I could feel my head throbbing like hell, numbness in my whole body, and stinging pain in my gunshot wounds. An oxygen mask was over my mouth, clouding my vision.

I moved my pupils from right to left, I figured I was lying on a single bed in a room with white walls and a white ceiling. Seemed like a hospital, for obvious reasons. Don't know how many days it's been, don't know the location where I am, no human being is in the view. And what's with all these wires around me?

I never felt this vulnerable in my entire life. I was better dead.

I took off my oxygen mask, I could breathe well, got myself free from those irritating wires, and removed the electrodes from my chest. I sat up straight and tried to stretch my stiff body. Ah! Jesus! My shoulder! I guess moving isn't suitable for me now.

Suddenly, the door to my right side opened and entered a man with a french beard, "Oh, you woke up? How are you feeling?"

"Like I'm in a fucking heaven. How do you think a person would feel who'd been shot three times?" I snapped.

"I'm surprised you can even talk this much in your condition," he said calmly.

"And who the hell are you?" I squinted my eyes at him.

"Your... doctor?" He raised an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes, I didn't want him to be the first person to see after opening my eyes. He started checking some numbers on the monitor and writing them down on my board.

"What time is it?" I asked.

He checked his wristwatch, "Almost... 11 am,"

"Am I okay? Is there too much damage inside?"

"Yeah, you seem quite fine to me," He said eyeing around me, how I threw off the mask and other wires, "All three of the bullets are now out of your body, so there's nothing to be alarmed about. By God's grace, you didn't break any bones. The wounds will take some time to heal, we put you on heavy painkillers-"

"Where are my friends?" I started asking questions, "Where's Joshua? Is he safe? Which hospital is this? Is it the one near the city bank? And where's my phone and my gun?"

He silently looked at me, then spoke after a pause, "I... don't know about your friends or whoever Joshua is, your phone and gun are confiscated by police, and yeah, you're in the hospital near the city bank," and he went out. I sat crossing my hands over my chest. God! I wanna see Joshua so badly.

Anyway, my biggest fear came true, and now that I think- it didn't hurt as much as I imagined. It made me get over my fear. A victorious smile spread on my face. I survived death! No one can defeat me! I am invincible!

As I was busy complimenting myself, the door opened again, and my hopes got high thinking it was him, but no, Seungkwan, Seokmin, Mingyu, and Wonwoo, all were here. It felt nice they cared about me.

"Yoon Jeonghan, doctor said you woke up," first words of Seungkwan after seeing me.

"Nice to see you too, and yeah I'm doing pretty okay, thanks for asking," I responded. They came closer, Mingyu and Wonwoo sat on the metal chairs, while Seungkwan and Seokmin sat on the foot of my bed. Their faces did look appeased after seeing me fine.
