Of course, what did I expect? Not even nature likes me.

"We have to hurry," I said, "The building is old... a few more blasts and it will collapse anytime soon,"

We kicked the door again. And with the help of another explosion, the hinges broke, and the door fell behind with a thud sound.

But when the inside view got clear, "Gosh, Jeonghan," Seungkwan whispered.

Because in front of us, there stood like twenty muscular men, guarding the altar and that basement door, holding bats, hockey sticks, and all kinds of weapons.

Seeing this many people against us five, my confidence shattered for a moment: "Guys, can we handle here?' I turned behind to ask them, and to my surprise, all four of them were standing there with their heads high, Seokmin and Seungkwan already aiming their guns at the enemies with one eye closed, Mingyu and Wonwoo ready with assault rifles in both of their hands.

"Don't you worry, boss," said Seokmin.

"We got this," Seungkwan smirked.

"Yeah, Jeonghan, we will clear the way for you, you reach that basement door and save Joshua," Wonwoo said to me.

"Operation save Joshua, we're coming," said Seokmin.

Mingyu went forward and yelled, "Yo! Whad up assholes!" catching their attention.

They all came and stood in front of me making a barrier, "Permission to shoot, boss," asked Wonwoo.

I took a deep breath, I knew very well what I was doing. "Granted!"

Hence, started the gun war. Their men came rushing towards us, and bullets started flying in the air, but with the trained quick reflexes, we were able to dodge every single hit. Six of their men fell on the ground an instant when we shot them in the knees. My team went ahead of me in attack mode, perfectly aiming their shots, I knew I could trust them for this. I was trying to get to the door without getting their attention.

Lying low behind, I saw a guy pointing his gun at Wonwoo's back. I quietly went behind and kicked that guy's arm, the gun fell from his hand. I dragged him and slammed him on the pillar, "Shooting on the back is in your blood, isn't it?" I said through clenched teeth recalling how they shot me, and in my two punches on his face, he was on the floor, "Cowards!" I spat.

The backup team has come inside too, now I don't have to worry. Everyone got busy fighting with each other, the sound of screaming, and bullets firing were echoing in the hall amid the rain. Some parts of the ceiling had fallen due to the little earthquake after the explosion. The rainwater was leaking on the ground. I need to be fast, don't know when the next big explosion might come.

I discretely reached the door.  And as soon as I touched it, two guys grabbed me from behind. "Always from the back! You dipshits!" But this was nothing for me, I've handled way worse. I elbow-punched one of the guys on his throat and tripped him with my leg, took two steps back, and banged another one's head into the wall.

I ran towards the door, but it was locked from the inside. "Shit!" I kicked it hard. My anxiety was rising. Are they doing something to him? How do I get inside? "Joshua, are you in there?" I yelled kicking it over and over again. "Joshua?!"
