It had been a few days in the house and currently Izuku was able to bandage himself up properly and wash himself, though he couldn't bring himself to stand under the water, so he filled up the bathtub slowly and washed himself the best he could with what was available.

He quickly noticed that many of the things left were horribly expired or just too old to be safely used, so he did a bit of cleaning, though when he went to the fridge and the pantry, he noticed there wasn't any food at all.

(Guess I have to go grocery shopping) Izuku thought to himself.

Izuku thankful that he was taught how a generator works, was able to turn it off during the day when there was still light out, though after searching through the entire house and coming to the discovery that he would have to wear his fathers clothes for a while, and the fact that the thermostat still didn't work properly, he would have to find a way to start paying the bills.

But when he went searching through his fathers study, he found not only a huge envelope of cash, which could probably help him buy groceries, but he also found his will.

After reading it Izuku realized that he had claim to quite literally everything. Though he wasn't of legal age to inherit anything yet. But one thing Izuku hadn't failed to notice, was that the will was under Pro Hero, Hawks. Not Keigo Takami.

So, Izuku came to a decision.

He would pretend to be his father so he could inherit what he had left him.

Though thankfully Keigo had left step-by-step instructions for Izuku on how to inherit what was left for him, how to open up the savings accounts, and the regular debit account. And once again Izuku was ever thankful for his fathers preparedness, seeing as he had left him the instructions with easy commands, and how to do it on the computer.

Though Izuku still had to find either his old computer or his fathers, and most likely charge it.

But first Izuku decided it would most likely be safer if he went out and got something to eat, seeing as the boy hadn't eaten in only the gods know how long.

But while he was out, he decided it would be a good idea to bring his computer and stop at a café so he could charge it. And he still had no Wi-Fi at home, so this was kind of his only option.

Though once Izuku had gotten out of the house he quickly realized how loud, crowded, and horrifying the world was.

He had never had any memories of the world being this loud, or this crowded. Though he toughed through it, deciding that once he got all of this set up, he wouldn't have to leave the house ever again.

After making it to a small café and getting something to eat, Izuku logged onto the Wi-Fi and got what needed to work with what needed to be done.

Though he did not take in account of how long it would take. While his father had left him every last dime he had, which would be able to cover his bills for the rest of his life if he wanted, his fathers instructions could only go so far.

Clearly Keigo had expected Izuku to be older by the time he would have to do this. Not just barely 14. And it didn't help Izuku had to go through a lot of steps to prove he was Keigo Takami, Izuku's parental guardian at the moment.

Izuku knew he technically wasn't lying, Keigo Takami was his guardian, it's just Izuku decided to leave out the part that he's no longer alive.

Though finally after 7 hours of work and creating many different statements and putting in the address of his house, he had bills set up and he was had just gotten the alert from the email he made that his electric, heat, phone, and water bills had now just been paid and put on an automatic plan. Though he still had to go grocery shopping

Izuku nearly cried when he got the alert, thankful that the hell was finally over.

"Hey kiddo, we're closing up shop. Do you want anything else to eat? You only had that muffin like 7 hours ago." Izuku jumped at the voice who had snuck up on him.

Though turning around and readjusting the mask that he had found, he really didn't want people to see his face.

"N-No I-I'm fine.... I-I have to go to t-the store a-anyway." Izuku stuttered as he looked up at the woman.

"Well, you shouldn't go on an empty stomach." The woman stated as she reached over the counter and grabbed a chocolate chip muffin.

"Here you go kiddo, you at least need a little snack, you haven't eaten hardly anything today." The woman offered kindly as she put the muffin into a small paper bag and handed it to Izuku.

"T-Thank you, here" Izuku said as he handed the woman some money to pay for the food.

"Huh? Oh, no kiddo you go ahead and take it. Besides we have to get rid of the pastries anyways when they become a day old." The woman stated as she handed the money back to Izuku

"Y-You get rid of t-them?" Izuku stuttered while the woman only nodded.

"W-Well I-I'll take them, s-so they don't go to waste" Izuku stuttered as he looked away from woman sheepishly.

"Oh! That's an awesome idea kiddo! Here I'll wrap em up for you." The woman said excitedly

After the woman had gotten the last few pastries in a bit larger paper bag, she handed them to Izuku, who put them in his backpack as he also put up his laptop and charger.

"By the way kiddo, what were you working on. I saw you doing some math stuff on your napkin, did you have a lot of schoolwork?" The woman asked while Izuku merely shook his head.

"N-No, I-I had to u-um, I had to w-work o-on some b-bills a-and stuff" Izuku explained as he readjusted his hoodie, or rather his fathers old hoodie that hung to his knees.

"Bills? Kiddo why on earth would you have to do bills? That's your parents job. You shouldn't have to do that." The woman said as her eyes went wide. Immediately feeling protective over the boy.

Though Izuku only looked down and away from the woman, not having the heart to lie to the woman about his parents. He already hated himself for using his father's name in such a way. And he couldn't bring himself to say the truth. Because then that would mean it was all real, it would mean that they both were truly gone.

Though he didn't have to say a thing, the woman figured it out on her own.

"Oh, oh, kiddo I'm sorry." The woman said gently as she knelt down so she could look up and at Izuku's still masked face.

"If you ever want to come in here and just relax after a long day, or you just want a muffin. You can come right on in here, okay? You're more than welcome." The woman said kindly as she placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder, while the boy looked at her with tears in his eyes as he nodded.

After Izuku had left, he did end up going to the store as he tried to make use of the last bit of sunlight he had left. Though his mind couldn't get off the question the woman had asked. "Did you have a lot of schoolwork?" Izuku wanted to go back to school, he still wanted to be a hero.

His father's last words to him repeating daily in his mind.

"d-don't be a Pro just for me, d-don't do it for anyone. O-Only do it because it's what you want. D-Do it because you believe that the world is w-worth saving."

Izuku had heard those words daily, repeatedly for 3 years. He knew that there were people out there who needed to be saved. Before, he wanted to be a Hero to make his father proud, to be like his father.

But now he knew why he truly wanted to be a Hero.

He wants to be a hero so he could save those who can't save themselves, he wants to be a hero so he can make sure no one will have to go through what he has.

But first, he had to get back into school.
