"How often are you traveling while in season?" Jenny, Lorenzo's wife, asks me.

"About every ten days give or take. It kind of just depends on where we're playing and how long we're playing in one city."

"Is it as glorious as it seems to be?"

I chuckle, "There are moments where I never want to come home, especially when we're in Europe. We get lucky because we do end up staying at really nice hotels and everything is catered for us. I will never complain about my lifestyle because not everyone gets a chance to play their favorite sport. Toward the end of the season, I start missing my bed and I hate living out of a suitcase. In the end, it becomes worth it if we win. It's worth the early practices and all of the traveling even if flights are 16 hours."

"We're curious, how was long-distance?"

"To put it bluntly, it sucked," they laugh, "I got to see him in July when we were in Chicago. I can't look forward to next season just because we're going to have to do it all over again. I'm sure you all heard or even saw what happened with TMZ right before I came back to the States. That was a mess in itself."

"It was actually the guys talking about it because they were so confused and then they brought it home to us making us just as confused."

I nod, "Yeah, that was a mess. I didn't enjoy that. Although, I did have one of the best games of my life while mad, so there was a positive outcome."

She laughs, "But, y'all are good now?"

"Yeah. We're better than good. He's gonna move in with me at some point. Probably after the season."

"Wow, y'all are serious."

"I guess. It just makes sense. I don't know. He felt really bad after the whole TMZ thing because I was upset and I didn't want to believe it. I didn't for the most part, but there was still that feeling of disappointment and untrustworthiness on my end."

"Y'all are gonna be engaged by the end of the year. I can see it."

I shakily laugh at that, "We'll see about that."

"You don't think so?"

"It's only been a year, so I mean, I don't expect it. But let's just say that I wouldn't say no."

They all laugh but stop, "Oh, god, I really just admitted that." I down the rest of my champagne and rinse out the glass. And that's my last drink of the night.

"We'll keep that between us."

"Yeah, that's not leaving this room." I go stand in the suite seating as our boys go back to the dugout.

Christian came up from behind, hugging me as I talked to some of the other girls while we waited. They just won the fifth game of the NLDS and are going even further. "Ow, careful. Broken rib, remember? Ugh, and you're sticky."

"Oh, you're fine. About the sticky part, not your rib. Sorry about that."

I turn around and kiss him. He's so sticky. "Are you chasing the goal for me?"

"I have to get on your level somehow."

"That's a big level."

He laughs, "Don't get cocky on me just after we won."

I laugh, "I'm proud of you."

He kisses me again, "Thank you."

"My mom is here if you want to go see her."
