I am Chinese myself, but despite that, I have a hate for Chinese grammar. So, why I think Chinese Grammar is useless? Easy, when are you gonna use it? As an  English speaker, I'd choose to learn how to communicate the language than learn its grammar.

It isn't much useful to use grammar when you come to the real world. You won't be going to work or make a business deal by talking grammar to them now, would you? You would instead be talking to them in the language.

Quoting a sentence said by Barry Evans in Mind your Language (EP: An Inspector calls):"What's the point of learning past participles, cognate objects, or subordinate clauses? It's far more useful to try to teach foreign students how to order a meal or find accommodation."

That's why I think it is a waste of time to study Chinese Grammar
