*COMPLETE. WILL GET THE PACKAGE TONIGHT*

Li Qiang smiled as he read the encrypted message on his phone. Then he immediately deleted the message when he noticed that Wang Ruo was walking towards him.

"Hey." he gave her a brilliant smile. "Did you sleep well?"

"Hmmm..."Wang Ruo nodded before giving him a smile. "It's already noon. You should have woken me up." .

"Well... I saw you were so busy with your paintings last night. So, I thought you needed some rest." he answered before pouring her a cup of tea. "Your favorite. Have some, it will keep you relaxed."

"Thank you." Wang Ruo said.

Seeing Wang Ruo's content smile, Li Qiang nodded before turning his attention back to the documents he was reading.

Tonight he would get the Manoabn Family's list of contacts in the black market. Tonight, his men would go to Manoban Conglomerate to get it from Lisa's vault.

The thought of Lisa instantly made Li Qiang smile. That guy fell into his trap again. His tactic of causing confusion and chaos inside the Manoban Family was indeed correct. It made them divide their attention which made it easier for Li Qiang to attack Marco Manoban and Zhao Chittip.

Now, that Marco and Chittip were not standing on his way it would be easier to attack Lisa. After all, he was not more, but a young chick. He might have been smart, but his experience was not enough to defeat Li Qiang's wisdom. However, the only variable that he did not consider was Jennie.

Li Qiang originally thought that Jennie would need to stay with Wang Group and RubyJane Corp to settle all the problems that he had caused. Who would have known that she would settle everything so easily and come with Lisa? As expected from Wang Ruo's daughter, she was as outstanding as her mother.

Currently, he urgently needed to find a way to separate Lisa and Jennie. That would make them more vulnerable. If they were not separated it would be very hard for Li Qiang to take over Manoban Conglomerate. It would also be very hard for that stupid Nancy to use her charm to attract Lisa .

The thought of Nancy seemed to worsen.she was just like her stupid mother: useless. Maybe, he should get rid of her as well.

However, now that Wang Ruo was really treating Nancy as her daughter, it would be hard for Li Qiang to get rid of her. Maybe, he needed to wait for a little. Wait until he finally got the Manoban Conglomerate from the Manoban Family.

Ah... how amusing. Thinking about the completion of his overall plan was making Li Qiang's mood turn for the better.

....

Meanwhile, Jennie was sitting in front of Lisa. Her posture was straight, however, her gaze was lowered. She was currently chastising herself. How come she forgot the lunch date?

She had never forgotten something that involved food! She thought about the things that she had done today and wanted to smack herself. She had a meeting with all of the department heads and was too engrossed reading their reports.

So how come Rosé did not remind her? Oh right! She did! Jennie remembered Rosé telling her about the lunch, but she had actually forgotten about it.

"Do you know what you have done?" Lisa asked his tone cold, however, his gaze was saying the exact opposite. It was as if he would laugh at any moment.

"I forgot about the date." she blurted. It was her first time missing a date and she was totally clueless of how to compensate him. Maybe quick lovemaking would do? However, the thought of herself having these things in mind, made Jennie cringe. What was she thinking?

"I'm sorry, It's my fault. I promise not to do it again," she said in one breath. Right, the classic way of apologizing when you were in a relationship. Firstly apologize, then admit your mistake and lastly, swear not to do it again.

After not hearing Lisa's response for a minute, Jennie slowly raised her head, only to see him smiling before he quickly pulled her onto his lap.

Jennie made a surprised squeal. "Why are you laughing?"

"You got it wrong." he chuckled. "You are so smart, yet you were wrong." Seeing Jennie in a daze, Lisa explained. "I was not mad that you missed it. Instead, I did not like that you forgot your lunch."

Lisa's words instantly made Jennie grin.

How silly of her! She was just overthinking.

"Come, let's eat. I made sure to bring some of your favorites." he gently said before kissing her forehead.
