Chapter 20

A/N : Actually, I forgot that the year is 1978 and not 1980 while writing the previous chapter. Ron is born in 1980, but I forgot and wrote that he is already born. I hope you people don't mind if I don't change it and just let the story continue as usual. I didn't even realize until after I wrote this chapter and saw the comments. Sorry about the mess and I hope you like the new chapter!! ❤️

"So, what's the plan?" Draco asked Lucius after calming down from his excitement and Lucius rolled his eyes. 

"She is your girl, you should be the one planning not your father." Lucius said and Draco looked at him unhappy and was about to open his mouth to say something, but Lucius raised his hand to stop his upcoming tantrum. "Let me think."

"Ok." Draco said happily and relaxed back in his chair and also thought what they should do. 

"I think, you should not meet her till her birthday." Lucius started and Draco looked at him shocked. 

"What?" Draco exclaimed. "You want me to not talk to her for 12 days?" 

"Listen to me, Draco." Lucius glared at him lightly. "Just don't meet her for a few days and then when you surprise her on birthday, she will be so happy."

"You really think so?" Draco asked and Lucius nodded. "I'll try then."

"Yeah and we should plan it in her house as Dumbledore is not allowed there anymore, but the dark lord can come here any time." Lucius said and Draco looked confused. 

"She will be at her home, how can we plan a party there without her knowing?" Draco asked him. 

"Narcissa can take her out again that day to buy birthday present and we can decorate the house before they can return." Lucius said and Draco agreed. 

"You are awesome." Draco said and Lucius rolled his eyes at his 'son'. "I have to buy her gifts."

"You want help in that too?" Lucius asked and Draco shook his head. 

"No, I can buy them on my own. Now, the rest of the plan?" Draco asked him.

"What rest of the plan? It would be just like every other birthday party. We will be there, the Lestrange brothers and her family. That's it. She will cut the cake and then we will give her presents. May be a dance or two." Lucius said and Draco nodded. 

"Ok, she likes simple things anyways." Draco said to him and thought about what to give her as a gift.

Lucius looked at him and shook his head with a small smile. He really likes her so much that he doesn't even know himself. He wants to see how Draco will manage to not meet her for this 12 days. He hoped his son is not a weakling and won't meet her these 12 days. Not that he won't treat him as his son if he meets her before her birthday, but he just wants to see his self-control. He should be able to control himself well if he wants to live in the outside world. He can't let his emotions take control over his body and act rashly.

"Sorry about earlier. I just saw her and didn't want her to see us together." James said as soon as Severus entered the basement where there is a small laboratory. "I completely forgot about her and Dumbledore before asking you if you want to come with me. I shouldn't have asked you to come with me at all. It's not safe for any of us. I'm so sorry for placing in you such a situation-"

"James, you are rambling." Severus smiled at him and James blushed lightly looking away from him. James didn't know why he just rambles when he is with Severus all the time. Why is he acting like a school-girl with a silly crush. "You look cute when you ramble."
