Chapter 14

Draco stopped Holly as they were about to enter the room and she looked at him confused. Draco waited till the others went into room and looked at Holly a bit frowning. Holly looked at him really confused as to why he stopped her and is looking at her like that.

"Why are you so hard with Sev?" Draco asked her. "He was under compulsions and potions Holly. I checked him myself last night and he was under so many compulsions to think of your dad as the way he used to think. It's not his fault; don't blame him for his past behavior. Don't blame him for what he did because of the compulsions. He is a nice person and my godfather too. I don't like someone talking rudely to him. Please, at least be civil to him if not nice."

"I can't forget the way he talked about me and my dad and others, Draco." Holly said to him. Why can't he understand that? Why isn't he seeing how he treated her father? Just because Snape is his godfather doesn't mean, she has to forgive him for everything he said about her family.

"When he can forgive your dad for what he did, why can't you? He even helped your dad today." Draco asked her.

"My dad was under compulsions to treat him the way he did." Holly defended him.

"Sev was also under compulsions. Why are you ignoring that?" Draco asked her.

"He didn't even believe you when you said the truth. You like him a lot and trust him a lot but he doesn't. He only likes Evans and would believe only her. Why are you even supporting him?" Holly said looking at him confused not understanding why he was supporting Severus.

"The compulsions won't let him doubt Evans." Draco sighed when she didn't look like she is going to be convinced and turned away from her. "Don't talk to Sev if you have so much of problem. But, don't insult him or talk rudely to him if you do." He left saying that.

"Draco" But he left leaving her alone in the hallway. Holly sighed as he went inside the room everyone went. Draco is angry at her because she is not talking to Snape properly. Why does Draco always support Snape even when he doesn't support Draco?

"Holly." James called as she stood there for some more time and she turned around to see him standing there along with others looking confused at her.

"Dumbledore left?" She asked him.

"Yeah, he was here to congratulate Lily and James on their engagement but was so angry when we said she is gone as James broke up with her." Remus told her.

"But, she is still here." She said to him.

"We can use some mind charms over her to make her believe she left this morning after a big fight with James and Severus can plant false memories as he is a master mind in that. It's no big deal." Remus explained to her.

"Why would Snape do that?" She asked.

"He is one of us Holly. He would help us obviously." Dorea said to her kindly.

"Why are you standing outside Bambi?" James asked her instead.

"I was just talking to Draco and he just went inside and I was about to follow him." She said to him.

"Is everything alright?" He asked her moving forward and she smiled at him nodding her head.

"Let's go. Everyone must be wondering where I am." She said and pulled him along with her.

"He loves her already." Charlus whispered and Dorea smiled at him.

"He needs someone when we are gone." Dorea said sadly.

"I don't want to leave them all Dorea." He said and she smiled at him.

"Me too." She said and he placed his hand around her shoulder before going inside clearing away their sadness.
