Chapter 11

Lily was getting frustrated as James didn't propose to her yet. She was waiting for him to ask her out on date and then publicly propose her but it's been two days already. She didn't understand what is taking him so much time to ask her on a date and propose to her. She looked up when he came to the dining room. His eyes were red and there were dark circles but she didn't give a damn about how he looked. She wanted her ring as soon as possible so that everyone will know that they are engaged. She was about to open her mouth when the mutt entered.

"Good morning Ja-" Sirius stopped when he looked at James properly. "What the bloody hell happened to you?" He exclaimed.

"Nothing, I'm fine. I just didn't sleep well." James brushed him off.

"Are you sure James?" Remus asked concerned.

Lily rolled her eyes at their stupid love. He said he is fine, why don't they understand. Stupid people. She thought to herself. She just wants to leave this place as soon as possible. This place is so nice and rich but she can't stay with these snobbish purebloods or faggots anymore. She shuddered looking at Sirius and Remus.

"Good morning everyone." Charlus said cheerily and everyone except James answered him. Dorea followed him and instead of sitting beside Charlus as usual, she took a seat beside James.

"Good morning Jamie." She kissed the side of his head. He just nodded his head playing with his food. Dorea smiled sadly at him before looking at Charlus who mirrored her expression.

"Did you sleep?" She asked and he nodded again.

"Sirius, Remus." Charlus called their attention. "There is a thing I need to talk to you. It's a bit important. So meet me in my study after breakfast."

"Of course." Sirius nodded his head.

"What do you need to talk to them?" Lily frowned looking at Charlus.

"I need to talk to them Lily not you." Charlus said politely.

"I'm family too, I should know what's going on." She demanded.

"Lily! Charlus wants to talk to his sons. I don't think he should tell you everything what he says to them." Dorea said sternly not at all liking her behavior these days.

"They are not his sons-"

"They are my sons as much as-" Charlus cut her off rudely.

"How dare you cut me off like that." Lily glared at him.

"And how dare cut him off like that?" Sirius glared at her.

"I was talking nicely. It's him who cut me off rudely. James, why are you not talking anything?" Lily looked at James for help who was not even in this world to know what is happening around him. "James!" She shouted making him snap out of his thoughts.

"What?" He asked irritated.

"Your father is talking to me rudely. How can you let this happen?" She shouted.

"You do it all the time to me." He rolled his eyes.

"What do you mean I do it all the time?" She frowned.

"I don't remember the last time when you talked nicely to me Lily. You always demand me of something or talk rudely to me. You make fun of my choices. You belittle me all the time. I never complained like you are doing right now. So why can't you for once take what is in store for you and shut up. My head is already hurting like hell." He said his head feeling dizzy.

"I don't talk rudely to you." She glared at him.

"What do you call this then?" Sirius asked her.
