Chapter 27

"I'm done and I'm so happy." Holly said grinning as they exited the jewelry shop. Her grandfather bought so many things for her the whole day. She just has to look at the thing for more than 5 seconds and he puts it in their shopping basket. If it wasn't her grandpa then it would be Sirius. They are spoiling her too much, but it felt so good to be spoiled by your family. She always saw Dudley getting things that he wanted whenever he asked for them. She used to wonder why he would ask for more things all the time. 

Holly understood the feeling of being spoiled by your loved ones and she loves it. She isn't going to exploit this like Dudley, but she will use it whenever the situation occurs. Like making her grandpa melt just by making puppy eyes. She can make those eyes to him and go meet Draco whenever she wants. She can go to her grandma and make those eyes to make her cook her favorite. Her dad can't say no to anything even if she doesn't make those puppy eyes at him. Remus might be a little bit hard to convince, but Sirius is just like her grandpa. 

"Where did you go?" Sirius asked placing his hand around her shoulder. 

"I'm so happy today." Holly said smiling so big that her cheeks hurt lightly. "I can't even say how much. It's the best day ever. I don't want to lose any of this at all."

"You won't lose anything, pup. I swear, I'll do anything to make sure you won't lose anything or anyone of us." Sirius kissed the side of her head and she grinned at him. 

"Can we go back? I miss dad." She pouted lightly. "I wish he came with us."

"We are set to go." Rodolphus announced and Sirius knew that meant the party is all set to start as soon as they go back to the manor. He will kill Draco if his pup didn't like anything that he prepared. 

"Before we go, I want to ask you something. Be honest with me, alright?" Sirius whispered as they walked behind everyone. 

"What?" She asked looking curious. 

"Are you really fine with Severus now or are you just acting because of Prongs?" Sirius asked and she frowned lightly. "Oh, come on. I'm his best friend and he is my brother in all but blood. I can see that Prongs likes Severus and by the looks of it, you know it too somehow." 

"How did you know? Did he tell you?" She asked surprised. "Dad said he never told anyone, not even you."

"He didn't. I can see it in his eyes. I'm Sirius Black." Sirius said puffing his chest out slightly. She chuckled slightly rolling her eyes. "So? Severus?"

"I'm still not completely fine with him. But I'm not acting because of dad, either. I'm trying to know him and as I'm getting to know him, I find he is not that bad. Draco said-" "No darling, don't tell me what others told you, just what do you think of him, that's it." Sirius interrupted her. "I know I wanted you to forgive him, but you don't have to talk to him and stay there while we are talking to him if you don't want. We want you happy and we didn't want you to think badly of someone who is not guilty." 

"I'm happy, Siri. I really am and I'm really starting to like Severus a little bit, not much but better than before." She said and he looked at her for a long time before nodding his head. 

"I know you are just like me." Sirius said and she laughed loudly. 

"What are you laughing for?" Remus asked coming to her other side. 

"Nothing, it's just between us." Sirius poked his tongue out at Remus who looked like a kicked puppy. 

"You won't tell your favorite uncle, cub?" Remus asked her and she laughed again. 

"Siri was saying I'm just like him and I laughed because he is true." She said to him and Remus gasped. 

"How can you even think it's true? You are not like him. If anything, you are like me. Smart and studious." Remus said proudly.
