Chapter 23

"Happy Birthday Holly!" Everyone shouted as soon as she came down for breakfast in the morning with James. She had tears in her eyes when she looked around them looking at her with so much love in their eyes. 

"Thank you so much." She whispered and James held her shoulder making her turn to him. 

"Bambi, you don't worry. There won't be a single day in your life from today where you have to go through any difficulties or sadness alone again." James promised kissing her forehead. "We are all with you forever."

"Yes!" Everyone chorused to it and she hugged James tightly crying into his chest. 

"Holly, come on. It's your birthday. You shouldn't be crying today. Instead you should be happy." Draco said and she pulled away from James who wiped her tears. James pulled her chair beside Draco and she sat on it. James sat on the other side of Holly. 

"So, what's the plan for today?" Holly asked while eating. 

"We are going shopping." Narcissa announced happily and Lucius shook his head at his wife's enthusiasm for shopping. Ladies and their shopping sprees. He would never understand what is so good about shopping so much that the ladies are attracted to it like a bee is attracted to a flower. 

"Yes, we are going to buy you everything you want." Dorea declared.

"I'm going to join you guys." Charlus announced making Dorea look at him confused. 

"Me too." Sirius said to them confusing the other two ladies even more. 

"Uh- Actually, I want to be a part too." Remus said to them. 

"Can I come with you too?" Rabastan asked them. "Well, I mean can we come?" He gestured to himself and his brother Rodolphus. 

"Then, I want to come with you guys too." Regulus said as soon as he heard that Rabastan is going to shopping. He thought Rabastan would be here helping Draco, so he said no to Sirius earlier. Now, he wants to go and Sirius rolled his eyes at him. Regulus poked his tongue out at Sirius who laughed at his childish antics. 

"Why?" Dorea asked them.

"What do you mean by why Dorea?" Charlus asked her. "We want to come and join you for shopping. What's wrong in it?"

"You don't like shopping Charlus." Dorea said to him.

"It's my granddaughter's birthday. I want to buy her the world, but I can't do so. At least, let me join you for shopping and buy her whatever she wants." Charlus said to her. 

"You don't have to buy me anything, grandpa. I'm already so happy." Holly said to him. 

"That's not how it works, honey. We are going out and we are buying a lot of things." Charlus said to her. 

"If you insist." Holly gave up knowing well how stubborn her grandfather is. She looked at Draco who didn't offer to join them. Why isn't he coming with them? Also, her dad too. "Aren't you two guys coming?"

"No, I have some work to do with Dad." Draco looked at her apologetically. Looks like, she forgot about the surprise I mentioned. Draco thought relieved. That's good. 

"I have to go to the potions store with Severus. The manager is making a problem lately with Severus and I have to see what's his problem." James sighed and looked at Severus who was looking at Holly. 

"I apologize for taking his time on your special day." Severus said to Holly who nodded. 

"It's fine. I can understand." Holly said to him politely. 

James and Draco both wondered when their relationship will be normal. They don't like seeing them talking so formally, but they understand that it will take some time for Holly to get adjusted to Severus and be comfortable around him. Draco wondered how she got so comfortable around him so fast and yet it is taking her a long time to be normal with Severus.
