"Well someone looks happy." Sean smirked while eating his way through an extra large carnivore pizza by himself.

"Mmghk" I mumbled and tried to look as casual as possible.

"You talked to your person?" He guessed.

"Yeah" I mumbled, trying to look at him without blushing.

He analysed me as he took a big bite of the slice, squinting his eyes as he tried to observe me,"Cool." He stated once he swallowed it down," I'm happy for you." He grinned and took another bite.

We sat in my living room while watching a numerous amount of pointless movies, some of them were interesting but most of them we just spoke or made stupid comments through out it. Sean arrived at my door at 8am with his mom because she didn't trust him being alone, so now I have to keep the bitch entired for the day until 6pm when all I wanted to do was talk to Alistair.

Well, of course I can't talk to him the whole day, he's got a life Kyler, unlike you. Plus, he's on the otherside of the world and the time zones are confusing and-

"School starts next week." Sean's voice interupted my thoughts.

"Thank you for that wonderful piece of information, my life has been changed for the better forver." I deadpanned and nibbled on my BarOne chocolate, not really in the mood to eat anything.

"Exams." He prodded on, " I hope you've already started studying" He raised an eyebrow," I definately have."

"You?" I scoffed, "Studying? Early?" I barked loudly in laughter.

"I don't know why you think this is a humorous situation, Kyler." Sean managed to keep a straight face, " Yeah, I mean, 10th grade dude; Its like our last chance to really do well because the rest of our grades after this go towards University." He sighed with a slight smile on his face, " And at first I thought I didn't care, but I actually do, like a lot."

"Yeah." I pulled a face," That's very true bro. Its good that you're taking your grades seriously now, just you know, don't become boring and shit." I nudged him playfully.

"Hell no dude, I'd never give up my awesomeness just because I suddenly decided to concentrate more, calm down." He nudged me back; we watched another movie that we barely paid attention to, drifting in and out of consciousness whenever a good scene came by.

As the rest of the day dragged on I somehow ended up on the floor, right beneath the coffee table, which was actually very comfortable if it wasn't for my stupid phone vibrating above me, waking me up with a jolt and I hit my head on the edge of the table.

"fuck" I cursed groggily and crawled out from beneath the table and disorientatedly waved my hand on the table until I could feel the vibrating object in my hand and answered it without looking at the caller ID.

"What?" I replied irritatedly.

"Kyler?" Alistair answered in an uncertain tone," I'm sorry if I keep calling at inconvienent moments-"

"No, no" I rubbed the sleep away from my eyes and suddenly felt more awake ," Its not your fault, I'm just a really mean person to have a conversation over the phone with, sorry" I finally opened my eyes and looked around.

The sun had just started setting through the sliding door leading to the garden; whatever movie was playing was on low volume and Sean was snoring away on the couch, laying on his stomach with one leg hanging in the air.
