Hanging out with Eden was actually more fun than I imagined, I kept thinking she'd go off to hang off with the other people who were left behind since she knew them better than me, but surprisingly enough she stuck by the whole time.

"Okay but who on earth puts banana on their pizza?" She repeated for the 5th time, interrupting my aim at mini golf and I missed the hole-again.

"You know by now that I do" I gritted as I managed to get my ball in after 5 hits, "I suck at this game."

"Who cares?" Eden chewed on her bubble gum loudly, her hip sticking out as she rested her golf club on her shoulder, "We're supposed to be enjoying ourselves, why are you so tense?" She laughed.

"I don't like losing" I mumbled as I watched her get a hole-in-one without trying.

"You know this is nothing compared to real golf? My father makes me practice golf with him." A small smile flickered across her face as we made our way to the next hole.

"So you have an advantage, that's not fair" I argued.

"That's not the point" She poked my forehead in a manner that only Rita would've done, "We're supposed have fun and explore the place. Please don't tell me you're a sore loser" She sighed in disappointment.

"I'm not" I laughed; at least I don't think I am. Eden gave me an unconvinced look once it was her turn again. "So, uh, how did you and Angelique meet?" I asked awkwardly.

"French" Was all she said before shot another hole-in-one, "My first day of French class. I really wanted to learn it so I applied to a separate institute that teaches it after school hours. I got lost on my way to the class and everyone I asked only responded in French-because duh, French institute- then I bumped into her and she showed me the way. We're not in the same class so we spend our time in the library or after classes but yeah, we just naturally got into it."

"Naturally got into what?"

"A relationship" Eden laughed, "There was no asking out involved, one day someone asked if were dating and we just nodded our heads and that was that. Stress free."

"Oh wow, that's cool I guess." We made our way to the last hole of the round.

"It's Hella amazing" Eden corrected me, "What about you?"

"What about me?" I frowned as I tried to carefully aim the golf club in the direction of the hole, it wasn't very far so it wouldn't need much force. I swung the golf club a reasonable distance from the from the orange ball and ever so gently-

"When did you and Alistair start dating?" I swore in surprise and irritation as the ball went in to opposite direction, dropping into a nearby water scenery, "W-what did you say?" I was hoping I didn't hear correctly.

"When did you and Alistair start dating?" I stared at her as my throat went dry. She rolled her eyes once she realised I wasn't going go after the ball and took after it herself, returning slightly breathless with splashes of water across her outfit; and I still stood my throat gone dry.

"What you don't remember?" She smirked and pushed the wet ball into my palm.

"Uh" I stared at the ball in my hand, "A-Alistair and I aren't dating" I said slowly.

"Oh" Her lips made a perfect 'o' shape, "I see" She nodded, "You're trying to keep it under wraps? I totally understand; you don't have to talk about it. You're really cute together."

"Uh, no Eden you've got the wrong idea" I laughed nervously, I could feel my hands become jittery, "Alistair and I are just-"

"Sorry" A girl who looked around the age of 11 interrupted us, "My friends and I have been waiting to play" I turned around to see a group of children standing patiently behind us.
