"Children yet, the tale to hear,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Lovingly shall nestle near.

In a Wonderland they lie,
Dreaming as the days go by,
Dreaming as the summers die:"

It was only 1 hour after Kokichi had been executed.

Angelica was lying in her hotel bed, it was night.

Suddenly, there was a far away voice:

"Miss Angelica, I need you to know the truth."

Angelica got out of bed.

Underneath the bed was a golden light.

Angelica crawled underneath the bed.

It was a slide.

Angelica whizzed faster and fasted, until she dropped into a dark space.

Mono was there.

"Will we go home tomorrow?" asked the girl, dusting herself off.

"Yes," said Mono. "And the final class trial will happen tomorrow too."

"What about Kirumi? Ry-Ry? Himiko? Kiyo? Saihara? Kibo? Haven? Kee? Kokichi? Tenko?" asked Angelica.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry much about those 10," Mono began with a somewhat chilling giggle. "They just got themselves into sticky situations, that's all. Tomorrow, though, those people will be nothing more than sand."

"W-What?!" shrieked Angelica.

"I know, right?" cackled Mono as if to tease her. "I've had it all planned out from the moment they first arrived."

"You mean you're actually gonna kill them and turn them into sand?!" Angelica cried in horror.

"Yes," said Mono. "And that's how we do things here on this island."

"What are you talking about?" demanded Angelica.

"You see, the sand on this island isn't real sand." explained Mono. "I have a secret ingredient to the sand. And it's called 'the blood of humans.' Without it, the sand wouldn't be soft."

"You mean that all this time, we've been walking on sand made from people?!" Angelica screamed, even more horrified.

"I suppose so." Mono replied with a shit-eating grin.

"I......I-I-I don't know." Angelica whimpered, scarred with such a shocking revelation. "I just don't r-really know."

She had found out the terrifying truth behind the Island. Yes, her theory was proven correct, but in the very worst way possible. It turned out that Mono was, in fact, a serial killer. He would lure people to J Island to kill them and make them into the sand on the beaches. It was disgusting to even think about.

The next day, Angelica went to the restaurant.

"Do you know those urban legends about sand being made out of people?" asked Angelica.

"Yes," said Kaede. "I do. But they're fake."

"No," Angelica replied gravely. "They're not." She then told her about the revelation that Mono had told her.

"Where's Angie?" asked Kaede.

Suddenly, they noticed a lot of blood leaking from the underneath of a door.

"Something's very wrong," said Angelica.

They walked into the room.

What they saw was a pretty horrible, but also slightly unbelievable sight.

Angie was dead.

Her body was cut in two.

"Who would have done such a horrible thing?" asked Kaede.

Mono then announced a class trial would begin.

One more part and the SDR2 arc is complete! By the way, still think those were grains of sand that they were walking in the first chapter in this arc, people? Oh my god, no.
