Ellen tossed and turned in her bed.
So far, so good.
The explorer rolled over onto her side and yawned.
It was six hours after Keebo had been executed, and the nightmares were making it difficult for Ellen to fall asleep.
Flashback
No one could bear to look. Layla and Madison closed their eyes while Emerald looked straight down at the ground. Only Tsumugi and Ellen watched the execution, and they both looked horrified.
Then Keebo's half eaten body was shown.
He was covered in cat drool, cat pee, blood, oil, scratches, bites, partially licked off honey and catnip. He had been mauled by cats!
His legs were twisted off.
His body was a horrifying sight.
Without another word, everyone walked away.
End Flashback
Ellen then got out of bed.
